May 18, 2021: Or is it? Over the years scientists have looked into the possibility that black holes could be wormholes to other galaxies. They may even be, as, some have suggested, a path to another universe. Present author thought the Bermuda Triangle Mystery is just a possible mini-black hole and humans who entered it don't return. I expect that the mystery cannot be easily resolved since we are not aware of what is a blck-hole but researches eventually find the possibility of what is the Bermuda Triangle Mystery?
May. 19, 2021: Vegetable prices skyrocket in Andhra Pradesh as traders cash in on pandemic.

the stock brokerage industry in India clocked an income of Rs27,500-28,500 crore
($3.6 billion), which is around 30-35% higher year-on-year, according to rating agency

May. 07, 2021 at 6 PM:  Prof. K.R.Rao D.Sc.(Madras) D.Sc. (London) from 1919 to 1972 June 20, guided more than about 70 Doctoral Candidates at Andhra University, Waltair. He was in London, and Sweden during the years 1928 to 1930, when he achieved D.Sc. (London). What is amazing is that he guided students from one end of the spectrum, namely Radio Waves, through intermediate ranges to Cosmic Rays, and many foreighn scientists visited his laboratories  in Andhra University, that claimed world wide recognition. Many of his students migrated to the USA and other countries. See his biography outlined by the present author Prof. Dr. Kotcherlakota Lakshmi Narayana in a series of articles. One British Lady took a lot of pains to collect all his original publications made in London etc., and made a volume of astounding memories of extraordinary genius. Curtis was allowed but Prof.K.R.Rao D.Sc.(London))not permitted to board the ship to travel to the USA in 1930.  What I propose now that Prof. K. R. Rao thought of extended spectrum from far below the Radio waves and as well far beyond the Cosmic Rays. He cursorily mentioned it in his D.Sc. Thesis of Madras University, in the years 1919 to 1924, in spite of most research work he carried out in Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam, with visits to Thiruvananthapuram. Amazingly he thought of Quantum Spread of the spectra and with limited resources he made very interesting statements about the observation of the spectrums.  Now I suggest that the Electromagnetic spectrum has a novel feature, of associated Quantum Spread, with the spectrum extending below the Radio Waves and as well a far reaching extension above the Cosmic Rays extending to unknown lengths.
Forward, it to all whom you think interested in such writeups.

An insect trap that obviates need for pesticide, RAILWAY KODUR (KADAPA), This five-foot-tall stand installed in the middle of the farm is touted as a significant intervention that keeps the environment clean as well as fetch the farmers decent returns. Working on a technology promoted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), this solar-powered insect trap kills most of the pests that wreak havoc on crops. How it works. Like any other solar device, it stores power in a battery, with which a bulb glows for four hours from sunset. The harmful insects and flies hovering over the crops in search of food get attracted to the bright light and perish on coming into contact with the electrified fence around the bulb. “It is during this warm time that harmful insects invade the farms. As the self-operating light switches off in four to five hours, the crop-friendly insects flying after midnight are not threatened,” explains G. Venkatrama Raju, an ex-serviceman-turned-progressive farmer, who has installed the insect trap in his field.

HYDERABAD, Temple was built during the reign of the Kakatiya queen. Two rare sculptural portraits of Kakatiya queen Rudrama Devi were unearthed and identified by an archaeologist in the premises of the Sangameswara Swamy Temple at Teerthala village in Telangana’s Khammam district recently. D. Kanna Babu, former Superintending Archaeologist, ASI, Chennai, told The Hindu the celebrated temple is panchakuta — a five-unit marvellous shrine monument consisting of wonderful architectural features and requisite components for the comfortable worship of divinities. The shrine stands on a well built jagati platform now being covered under flooring and the most baffling aspect of the shrine is its complex enriched with two most marvellous sculptural representations. “Although both the sculptured slabs are abraded due to ravages of nature over the passage of time, the portraits have safely retained queen Rudrama Devi`s (A.D 1262 – 89) imperial personality and her characteristic gesticulation as an ardent devotee of Lord Siva — otherwise it could be a great loss to the history of Kakatiyas,” he said.

Apr. 16, 2021: Crab Nebula: Giant radio pulses and X-ray surges detected. By Ashley Strickland, CNN  3 hrs ago. The hauntingly beautiful Crab Nebula, located 6,500 light-years away in the Taurus constellation, is releasing an incredible amount of energy. This star spins 30 times a second and is considered to be one of the brightest pulsars emitting light in X-rays and radio wavelengths that is visible in our sky. When these beams of light sweep by Earth, scientists can catalog those pulses and determine whether it's a pulsar.
Apr. 17, 2021: 2 hrs ago: Ultralight bosons are a hypothetical particle theorized to be one-billionth the mass of an electron and likely a form of dark matter — “the mysterious, invisible stuff that makes up 85 percent of the matter in the universe.” The researchers used black holes to search for ultralight bosons as quantum theory dictates that all black holes over a certain mass should have relatively slow spins, a result of pulling in clouds of electric bosons which would slow the black holes’ motion. But, they found that the two black holes they were observing were spinning at too high a rate of speed to have been impacted by the bosons. That conclusion led the team to rule out the existence of ultralight bosons with masses between 1.3x10⁻¹³ electronvolts and 2.7x10⁻¹³ electronvolts.
Apr. 17, 2021: The basic prototype of Trashbot, the waste segregating machine, was made using Rs lakh that Nivedha’s mother lent her. The model won Rs 10lakh price money at Elevate 100, a flagship program by the Government of Karnataka that chooses 100 best start-ups and funds them. Trashbot separates wet and dry waste without requiring excessive human involvement. When a bag of mixed waste is put into the machine, the contents are sent into a magnetic separation system where batteries, contaminants and other metals are removed. The rest is taken up by a loading conveyor and sent into the shredding unit. Once shredded, the waste falls in front of a high-pressure, high-speed fan. The air pressure ensures that the biodegradable waste is collected in a conveyor close to the fan and the non-biodegradable waste is pushed further, to be collected separately. The non-biodegradable waste is then converted into sheets that resemble plywood but are 50% lesser the price. They are already made into furniture and are supplied to 3000 government schools in rural Karnataka.

Apr. 18, 2021: After 48-year search, physicists discover ultra-rare 'triple glueball' particle. Afi Letzter  4 days ago.  Now, after comparing data from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the 17-mile-long (27 km) ring-shaped atom smasher near Geneva that's famous for discovering the Higgs boson, and the Tevatron, a now-defunct 3.9-mile-long (6.3 km) American collider that slammed protons and their antimatter twins (antiprotons) together in Illinois until 2011, researchers report conclusive evidence of the odderon's existence.Occasionally, a quasi state called a glueball — a pair or trio of gluons — emerges during a collision. Scientists had already confirmed the existence of the double glueball, but this is the first time they've observed with confidence the triple glueball called the odderon, the one that in 1973 was predicted to exist.  But individual gluons are always an unstable mixture of color and anti-color: blue and anti-green, or red and anti-blue, etc. "Every gluon carries a color and an anti-color. And [these gluons] don't like to be alone," Royon said. When a single gluon enters a new proton, it grabs onto the other particles — the quarks and gluons that make up the proton. The single gluon seeks to pair with particles that balance out its  color and anti-color. But the colors inside the proton are already in balance, and the entrance of a foreign, unstable gluon disrupts the internal balance of the proton, triggering a cascade of events that rips the particle apart. That's what happens in 75% of the collisions, when protons shatter. Double glueballs have their own internal balance. Their color and anti-color charges are matched and slip easily from one proton to another without ripping them apart. In 1973, researchers showed that three gluons should, theoretically, be able to form a triple glueball in which red, green and blue colors balanced each other out. They called that particle the odderon.

Apr. 20, 2021: Can this mineral with an obscure backstory revolutionize solar power? Tom Metcalfe  14 hrs ago. Perovskites can be made as thin sheets at low temperatures, or as inks that can effectively be “printed” onto substrates of other materials, such as flexible rolls of plastic. That could lead to their use on surfaces where silicon solar cells wouldn’t be practical, such as the exteriors of cars or trucks; or they might even be printed onto cloth to power wearable electronics. Another possibility is to apply thin films of perovskites to the glass of windows, where they’d let through most of the light while using a part of it to generate electricity.
Apr.21, 2021: The temple dedicated to Lord Rama at Peddaputha village in Valluru mandal is unique in its own right. Apart from its architectural grandeur, the temple, dating to the Vijayanagara period in 1400 CE, has the idol of the presiding deity seated in a yogic posture, which is a rarity. In yoga, ‘Chinmudra’ is considered as a posture in which the practitioner holds the hand close to heart, palm closed, thumb and forefinger brought together. The left hand of the idol is seen touching the ground in ‘Bhumisparsha mudra’. Similar iconography can be found in Singanamala in Anantapur district and also at the 500-year-old temple at Nedungunam, 24 km south of Vandavasi town on Kanchipuram-Chetput route in Tamil Nadu, at the foot of Dheergajala mountain. Yet, the temple at Peddaputha village is in ruins and hardly known to people. The shrine used to be in a dilapidated condition for over three decades, but after its takeover by the Endowments Department last month, a glimmer of hope has emerged among the devout as well as the archaeologists that it would be revived.

Apr. 24, 2021: Promising New Material Can Store Solar Energy For At Least Four Months: Study. Sarthak Dogra  7 hours ago,  In a breakthrough discovery, researchers at Lancaster University have discovered a crystalline material that has properties allowing it to capture energy from the sun. The researchers claims that the material can store this energy for several months at room temperature and can even release it on demand as heat. The composite that the teams chose was called 'DMOF1' and had been prepared by a separate research team at Kyoto University in Japan. The researchers then loaded the MOF pores with molecules of azobenzene, a compound known for absorbing light. As the compound was exposed to UV light in tests, the fused azobenzene molecules were found to change their shape to a strained configuration inside the MOF pores. They were thus trapped inside the composite structure just as a bent spring traps potential energy, for at least four months.

Apr. 28, 2021: Red giant stars often fluctuate in brightness a little, over regular periods. The red giant star Betelgeuse is a perfect example of this. It has several brightness cycles, including one that occurs over around 425 days, and another over around 185 days. These are caused by acoustic waves bouncing around inside the star as it expands, contracts, and expands again. The longest of its cycles is more mysterious. It's what we call a "long secondary period", and it's 5.9 years long. Not all giant branch stars have long secondary periods, but a lot of them do - scientists have detected a long secondary period in around a third of all known giant branch stars - and these periods cannot be explained in the same way. A few explanations have been put forward for these mysterious thrums in the light of dying stars, including a different kind of internal oscillation, magnetic activity, or the presence of a binary companion.
