DETAILS:
16 Sept. 2019: Flash floods hit five Mandals Sirivella (22.76cm), Gospadu (22.64cm), Mahanandi (16.84cm), Nandyal and Rudravaram (18cm), Allagadda (11.9cm) in Kurnool district. In Allagadda mandal 600 school children rescued with the school boundary walls demolished. Water entered the premises of the school up to a level of 3 feet.
16 Sept. 2019: Tremors trigger fear along Narmada river. At 4.45PM on Wednesday a blast ripped through air of Ekalabara, they were second time in the day, earlier on Sept. 7 and 9 tremors rocked people out of sleep. Tremors  measuring upto 2-3 on richter scale gripped more than 12 villages. Blasts are so loud that they could be heard over 6-7 km distance. Five-six tremors in Barwani district, within a minute, and almost felt every day. Water in wells strangely bubbles up after a blast. But during floods in the 1970s they never felt such shocks. Cracks appeared on walls and walls have collapsed. A temple caved in Village. Height is 138.68 meters on Sunday.
16 Sept. 2019: Army moved to M.P. as dam overflows with Chambal river has swelling backwaters. Gandhi Sagar dam has more inflow 16 lakhs cusecs  than outflow only 5 lakh cusecs. M.P.recorded 33% more rain than normal and western district of Mandsaur received 160% mor rain. Sidhi and Shahdol districts stare at drought. In U.P. major rivers are in spate and some are flowing over the danger mark due to release of water from various dams. Allahabad and Badam the water level is reaching danger mark. Yamuna is flowing over the danger mark in Hamlpur and Chillaghat (Banda).
17 Sept. 2019: Due to lack of rains Thatipudi reservoir to release water up to Sept. 24, a major source of drinking water despite recent rains no improvement in water level. 10 mgd being released daily for irrigation. 10 mgd water released for Zone 6, i.e. to Pendurthi and Gopalapatnam and industries in Coromandel, Zindal and other places. No water released to river Gosthani, created acute shortage of water in Bheemili and other areas. Anantagiri hill rainfall during October might save the water problem.
17 Spt. 2019 : 20 hours ago: Karen Meech wouldn't credit Comet C/2019 Q4 with good timing. But when an astronomer has a chance to study the first known interstellar comet, by golly they take it, unfinished paper for a major conference aside.  Meech is just one of the astronomers who has rushed to ask for time using instruments on Earth and in its orbit to study a major cosmic celebrity: a bright, fuzzy dot in the sky that she and her colleagues are confident is the first interstellar comet known to scientists.

18 Sept. 2019: The hard impact on the lunar surface left a little crater, big enough for the IIRS to scrutinize the dug out sub surface material. It has a first time capability of mineralogical and volatile mappings of the linear surface in spectral range 0.8-5.0 micrometers, and complete characterisation of water/hydroxyl features near 3.0micrometers,at spectral resolution of 80 meters and high spectral resolution of about 20 nanometers. It would have raised a dust plume on impacting the surface. 14 earth days temperature would drop down to -150C, and would be in complete darkness.
18 Sept. 2019: Districts of Ballia, Ghazipur, Auraiya, Jalaun and Hamirpur face flooding threat. “About seven villages with a population of 15,000 have directly been affected. Sept. 19, 2019, 16:04 [IST]: 6.1 magnitude earthquake jolts Indonesia : Thursday,
Sept. 19, 2019: Tamil Nadu: Artefacts dated to 580 BCE hint at script continuity from Indus Valley Civilisation. The findings at the site in Keezhadi, near Madurai, push back the date of Tamil Brahmi script, which is the precursor to modern Tamil, by another century. “One kind of script that survived between the disappearance of Indus script and the emergence of Brahmi script is called as graffiti marks by the scholars,” the report said. “These graffiti marks are the one evolved or transformed from Indus script and served as precursor for the emergence of Brahmi script. Therefore, these graffiti marks cannot be set aside as mere scratches. Like Indus script, this also could not be deciphered till date. Recovery of 10 spindle whorls, 20 sharply pinpointed bone tip tools used for design creations, hanging stones of the yarn, terracotta spheres, copper needle and earthen vessels to hold liquid clearly attest to the various stages of weaving industry from spinning, yarning, looming and weaving and later for dyeing.

Sept. 22, 2019: FREE FALL OF LANDER:In arriving at the figure of a 184 mph crash, Dr. Thakkar, who calls himself as a great admirer ISRO said: "Free fall velocity can be closer to square root of 2gh. Where g is one-sixth of earth (32.2 feet per sec^2) h = 2.1 km = approximately 7,000 feet. With this free fall velocity of 270 ft/second = 184 miles per hour, nothing can survive at that speed. "Anything four-legged falling does not necessarily hit all four legs at the same time depending upon the profile of moon's surface. It is always one leg touching first and taking all the forces due to free falling. If one leg is weakened, the rest cannot help the situation. The deformations that are plastic are not recoverable in metal and materials. Anyone making prediction with a common sense, Vikram was destroyed as soon as it hit the moon ground," he said.

Sept. 29,  2019: Tweezer-in-a-tweezer: In the present work, they overcome this limitation by developing a method that uses only optical force. They integrate a silver nanodisc with a microrod made of glass and the combination can be manipulated using laser beams alone. This “tweezer-in-a-tweezer” approach can trap objects of about 40 nanometres in size, using a single laser beam. This is the typical size of a virus or DNA. “The optical tweezer holds the plasmonic tweezer and the plasmonic tweezers trap our target nanoparticles, therefore tweezer (plasmonic) in tweezer (optical),” says Souvik Ghosh, first author of the paper. This research has been published in Nature Communications.
