The depth of the quake was measured to be around 10 km (six miles). A team of astronomers has discovered that the closest known brown dwarf, Luhman 16A, shows signs of cloud bands similar to those seen on Jupiter and Saturn. An idea put-forth nearly two decades ago by Indian Astrophysicist Sujan Sengupta who is at Indian Institute of Astrophysics at Bengaluru that the light emitted by a cloudy brown dwarf, or reflected off an extra-solar planet, will be polarized. He suggested that a polarimetric technique could serve as a potential tool to probe the environment of these objects.

May. 07, 2020: Visakhapatnam, A gas leaked from a chemical plant in Visakhapatnam in the early hours,have happened between 3 am and 4 am, of Thursday (May 7) and spread to villages in a five-kilometer radius, killing at least 11 people 250 people hospitalized,and impacting about 1,000. The incident took place at the LG Polymer plant at Gopalapatnam on the outskirts of Visakhapatnam. About 500 people from 200-250 families in a three-kilometer radius were evacuated to safer places. At 19:11 PM on May 7, 2020 Centre Orders 500 Kgs Of Para-tertiary catechol (PTBC) Chemical To Neutralize Styrene Gas.

It was prepared by traditional hand loom process and no other mechanical means, otherwise its quality would be lost. It received Geographical Indications registry.
