20 October 2017: PM Modi's appreciation of Hema Malini a Rajya Sabha member: Hema-ji has distinguished herself as one of the leading Indian actors of our times. Her cinematic brilliance has spanned several films through the various decades. Her many roles have connected and endeared her to a wide range of cinema lovers. The efforts of Hema-ji to popularise Indian classical dances, particularly among youngsters, are deeply commendable, it is gladdening to note that the biography on Hema-ji also covers her early years and how she gained a foothold in the film industry through hard work and dedication. Hema-ji has also been an active BJP member for many years. She has served diligently in the Rajya Sabha and is currently serving in the Lok Sabha. I have found her extremely sensitive towards the development aspirations of the people of Mathura, her constituency.
October 20, 2017: Depression-triggered heavy rainfall, gusty surface wind likely in Odisha. The Depression over coastal Odisha moved northward and lay centered at 0530 hrs IST of today, the 20th October 2017 over coastal Odisha near Latitude 20.8º N and longitude 86.5º E about 25Kms west of Chandbali. Oct 27, 2017, 23:10 PM IST: LONDON: A 'swarm' of earthquakes will hit Britain and Europe on a day in November due to a major cosmic activity, a researcher has warned. November 19 will witness a series of quakes hitting the continent which would be felt in all major European centres including London.  A stellar body known as Brown Dwarf is claimed to be “pulling at the Earth’s tectonic plates” triggering tremors and volcano activity around the world. It is the same activity which has caused recent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions in Bali, California and the Canary Islands, the UK's Express reported. The Brown Dwarf, also known as the Black Star, is believed to have huge gravitational influence and is “pulling and squeezing the Earth. “Global seismic activity reaches a peak in the second two weeks of November moving into December 2017. “The predicted backside alignment quake event is scheduled for November 19, 2017, when the Earth passes behind the Sun relative to the Black Star”.
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, OCT 27: The North-East monsoon has set in over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala and adjoining Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh bringing heavy rain at some places.
