ABSTRACT

The month of December 2013 one of a peculiar weather with no major thundershowers or the lightning. The Gayatri College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam held a seminar on Mathematical Sciences, from Dec 19 to 23, 2013 for which I gave the paper entitled “A SPINORIAL THEORY OF CONTINUUM MECHANICS MODEL OF LIGHT AND THE PHOTON - VECTOR BOSON MULTIPLETS” with Photon, Anti-photon and Vector-Boson (W1, W2, W3) have been assigned Quantum Numbers of spinorial motion. The Anti-Photon and Photon specifically stated to differ in the (H4, L) specification, a book on Anti-Photon is prepared by the author and is available to interested people. It includes about four papers published in trusciencetrutechnology@blogspot.com. Weather in Visakhapatnam was relatively very cool in December 2013 no rains have occurred. Jatropha seeds have been identified for Aviation fuel and efforts are on a firm way to cultivate, with India as a major producing country.

WATER HUGE PLUMPES ON EUROPA

The Hubble Space Telescope identified two huge water plumes of water 200km high (124miles) which occasionally erupt near its south pole on Europa the icy moon.  Discovery Boosts Chances of finding Life on Europa.

 DNA Second Code

Scientists found a second code hiding in DNA which has  instructions  on Gene control. Washington scientists surprised to find two  languages to write genetic code. It has instructions on gene control.

 Dr. Federick Sanger

Died on November 19th, the twice Nobel Prize winner used Paper Chromatography to separate, purify and degradation products developing a chemical FDNB, gives a yellow color to the peptide. He found that proteins have an amino acid sequence group on one end and at the other end a carboxyl group. With a technician Bob Barrel, a school passes out, did help sequencing the RNA and DNA and got the full sequence of Phi X 174.  Sequencing a whole human genome in a day, he developed the routine as a diagnostic tool.

Sun trace Japanese by “Shiraishi” 2013
The upper and lower tips of the "8" represent the solstices--the longest and shortest days of the year. Today the Japanese sun is at the bottom. Winter has arrived! Japanese photographer "Shiraishi" stitched together more than 50 pictures spanning 12 months to reveal the analemma of 2013 over the city of Kumagaya-shi in Saitama, Japan. The shape depends on the tilt of the planet's spin axis and the eccentricity of its orbit around the sun. Martian analemmas resemble a teardrop, while Jupiter's analemma looks like a jelly-bean.

EYESIGHT FOR BLIND

The research in London, on adult rat’s retina ganglion cells and glacial cells has been recovered by Inkjet printing technology. They have used a piezoelectric inkjet printer device that ejected the cells through a sub-millimeter diameter nozzle when a specific electric pulse was applied. Video recorded the event with a high resolution of the printing process.

Jatropha seeds : Aviation fuel

The 250000 acres of land to grow Jatropha in Brazil (75000), India and other countries to produce 70million gallons of fuel a year to cater the needs of aviation industry with a mandate to use only low-carbon jet fuel or diesel fuel.SGB growing hybrid strains of plant to produce bio-fuel. In Guatemala they got 60 fruits in a cluster and on a hybrid jatropha plant SGB chief scientist counted about 37 fruits.

Molecular breeding Technology

To grow the wild plant guayule harvested as a replacement for petroleum-based rubber. The technology could be used to domesticate wild fruits and vegetables. 70% more food by 2050 to cater world needs.

Solar Data : Subsiding Radiation Storm

“An S1-Class solar radiation storm that began on Dec. 28th is subsiding. The storm was sparked by a magnetic explosion near the sun's western limb, which accelerated solar protons toward Earth. Our planet is now exiting the swarm of energetic particles. Sunspot AR1934 has developed a 'beta-gamma-delta' magnetic field that harbors energy for powerful X-class solar flares. Sunspot AR1936 has a 'beta-gamma' magnetic field that harbors energy for lesser-class flares. Nevertheless, AR1936 poses the greater threat to Earth because it is directly facing our planet. Indeed, an M3-class flare from this sunspot on Dec. 29th created a wave of ionization in the upper atmosphere over Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe”. Spaceweather.com

VENUS THRILL

It is easy to see Venus in broad daylight, but it is even easier to see the planet at sunset when Venus pierces the darkening sky like a beacon 150 times brighter than a 1st-magnitude star. Indeed, some sky watchers think Venus is an airplane. A quick look through a pair of binoculars, however, reveals the crescent. Point your optics southwest after sunset. Spaceweather.com

OBSERVATIONS

VENUS OBSERVED

The Venus provided a thrill in December 2013 with a magnificent shine and could be easily seen with naked eye.

WEATHER

The two days of December beginning, the sunlight was
subdued and there was no rain but cloudy weather persisted, may be a sequel of the Iran Earthquake of 28 November 2013. The 1 December to 4 December it was a cold season in Visakhapatnam. But, it was extremely cold on the night of 5 December 2013 and early morning of 6 December, 2013 and it continued on the 7 December becoming more chilly and cold.

  Fig.1a On 6 Dec 2013 at 6h59mPM moon Photo1181

On 8 December, 2013 morning also the chilly weather continued and the sky overcast with clouds but no rain. The day 9 December 2013 is totally cloudy with no Sun light at all and quite chilly since the morning. The 11 December was pretty hot weather. On the 12 December 2013 the day began with some sun shine but later the afternoon it was all cloudy and with no Sun light at all. On 14 December 2013 the morning Sun was magnificent and enchanting. The 15 December 2013 there was full Sun light but relatively cool, reminding one of the winter seasons. The weather in Visakhapatnam on the 16th was pretty hot for the winter season and light protective clothing was sufficient. The weather from 17 -31 December, 2013 was one of relatively cool Sun light (morning very red Sun rising) but the winter has left the people shivering and they clothed with protective shawls, especially, in the evenings. Morning Sun around 11 A.M was just warm enough to feel the heat. By 2PM it was observed that the sun heat subsides and gradually cold weather persists in the night to next morning till about 11 A.M. The Sun on 29 December was of considerable intense heat. The water in taps was very warm on the two days of December 30 and 31st.

GRAVITY WAVES

But by evening of 9 Dec 2013 the Gravity waves have appeared in the sky and
have been successfully photographed by the present author. The spacing of the waves quite large and have spread out from the East to West and have displayed the Red glare of the Sun set light prominently.

PROBE MARS MOON PHOBOS

The ESA mars express (launched on June 2, 2003, would make a closest flyby of the Mars Moon, Phobos, on December 29, 2013.Expected to yield most accurate details of gravitational field, when it is pulled slightly off course by the Moon’s Gravity, resulting in spacecraft’s velocity to alter by few cm/s. Radio signal get modified due to the flyby and beamed to Earth scientists would analyze them into mass and density structure inside the Moon.

 “Madi” Cyclone weakend

The cyclone Madi has weakened, at a distance of 450km from
Machillipatnam, but resulted in some rains in coastal Andhra. Machillipatnam Sea at
some Places on Tuesday 10 Dec 2013 showed powerful waves due to the cyclone
Madi. On 11 Dec 2013 it was at lat.14N and long.83.80E at 08h30mAM IST and weakened moving south-westward into a deep depression.

 TEMPERATURE RECORDS

Bijapur recorded 70C the lowest temperature. In Lambasingi the
temperature fell down to 40C and Chintapalli recorded 70C. Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology Hyderabad plans to grow Apple trees at Lambasingi where the temperature might fall down to 00C. On experimental basis about 100 Apple Plants have been put up at the great heights of Lambasingi by CCMB and some at Chintapalli. The plants would be brought from Himachal Pradesh.

Recycled Plastic

A great source of danger from plastic waste has been solved by a recycling method in India. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) widely used plastic bottles etc that now recycled with superior fungal destruction properties and is a non-toxic biomaterial. Retd. Vice President Shri V. Ramakrishna of Manali, Madras 600068 worked on PET resin and has two patents given to “his erstwhile company”. Email: vrkfpl47@gmal.com  I am fortuitous to meet him on 11 Dec 2013 at Vijayanagaram, Satya Venkata Kalyana Mandampam. [I told him about my patent on “Process for the preparation of Ferro-electric and pseudo (or Improper) Ferro-electric substrated phosphors sensitive to Infrared light (19 Pausa 1908 Saka)” Patent Gazette of India, 14th Dec, 1985, Part-III, Sect 2, Sub sec 25, No.156947/186/Bom 85.]

Greenhouses gases at Visakhapatnam

The greenhouse gas prevails in Atmosphere in Visakhapatnam due
to the Potential Industrial growth of the city, PFTBA (perfluorobutylamine) lurks in Atmosphere but the frequent cyclonic weather in the city clears the radioactively dangerous chemical. The yellow coloration of the clouds due this chemical may easily be identified by visual sight. C. V. Subrahamanyam of Hindu paper gave a photograph of the coloration of clouds at Visakhapatnam in a Thursday version of The Hindu 19 Dec.

CHRISTMAS DAY

This year the Christmas Day in Visakhapatnam, at Maharanipeta P. O was relatively noiseless and people had lot of celebrations at homes in a very docile manner. The Parrot visited our home “Narasimha Ashram”, official colony, around 1h02m P.M in the afternoon on Christmas Day and made a nice pose on the fruit tree planted by mother Mrs. K. Peramma Rangadhama Rao Garu in 1932.

THE ORION CONSTELLATION

This appeared to be bright and with all the stars in the constellation were very clearly could be spotted even with naked eye, especially on the night of 29 December, 2013.
