Bio-Process & Bio-Product Technology Transfer
CII seminar held at Green Park Hotel, Vizag on
16th November 2007: Review by
Kotcherlakota Lakshmi Narayana
The lacuna of guidelines for Quality certification and Quality assessment
has been pointed out by me, as the chief cause of venture capitalists to refrain
support to the promising entrepreneurs who are ready to undertake the
New Technology Business in India.

At the confederation of Indian Industry (CII) meet held
On 16th November 2007 at Green Park Hotel, Visakhapatnam on Technology
Offers, I have also stressed the importance of complete package offers
by agencies like ATIRA, IITs, RRLs, TIFAC, ATDC and APIPR with assurance of
Quality Certification by periodic monitoring of the Industry.

Andhra Pradesh Technology Development & Promotion Council (APTDC),
Technology Information and Forecasting & Assessment Council, Indian Oil
Corporation (IOC) senior scientists had an opportunity in Vizag to
present their innovative technology transfer offers. Many Industrialists
were taken aback of the technical details and knowledge needed to
promote the Industry of Bio=Process and Bio-Products. The scientists
went to the extent of simplifying the technical Know-How to the
august gathering of Industrialists and the entrepreneurs.

Ms Nirmala Kushik of TIFAC gave a talk on Technology Linked Business.
Mr.S.Biswas an Adviser of TIFAC elaborated on the doubts of
questioners regarding the viability and feasibility aspects of Enzymatic
Bioconversion of racemic molecules, Chitosan & value added formulations,
Alkalo-thermophilic thermomonospora specific process development,
Pictinase development etc. APEX bodies of TIFAC would support the
Entrepreneurs at medium and small scale enterprise.

Dr.Rakesh Sarin spoke about biodegradable
2T oil from non-edible vegetable oils. Ecofriendly soluble oil in
Metalworking industry with capacity of 50 tones per annum with
investment of Rs.30/-lacs, at a product cost of Rs.100/kg and a pay back
period of two years has been projected.

For ecofriendly sprayable girth gear lubricant
for rotary kilns of cement plants etc biodegradable lubricant technology
is ready for transfer: Investment Rs.15lacs, Product cost Rs.250/kg, Pay
back period 2yrs contact:Email:director@iip.res.in.

For technology transfer on enzymatic polishing of Brown rice
and leather etc contact rb@iitkgp.ac.in. Prof R.Banerjee has given an
excellent & extensive account of fruit flavor compounds, Koji and
other types of rice, fermented mushroom bio-products and suitable
for 21st century challenging food habits and tastes of youngsters for
Sweet, flavored and tasteful food items. Tel(R):283105/283104 khargpur
Email:rin_tuin@yahoo.com.

It is unfortunate that her own experience with establishment
of an Industry was a failure, since she happens more of an
Academician. Is it that Industrialists in India are a different?
Brand of people?

Dr.Rakesh Sarin of IOC gave a vivid account of Bio-fuels and Bio-diesels
production and utility in India. He quoted experimental runs of Buses,
Railway Engines etc based on biodiesels. Oil from genotype Jatropha
Curcas and Pongamia pinnatta has been emphasized. As a base case
the bio-diesels from sunflower, rapeseed, palm, soybean etc are presented
with the significant findings on suitable and efficient blends of
these oils. Single pot process has been outlined. The content of Free
Fatty acids problem has been discussed.

Prof.Ashok Pandey, RRL, Thiruvantapuram gave the technology details of
Xylanase production for paper & pulp industry and Phytase for feed industry
Technologies are ready for transfer. Email:ashokpandey@yahoo.co.in

The present author feels that the successful conduct of the
Seminar on Bio-Process and Bio-products by the Chairman of
CII Vizag Zonal Council, Dr. Varma Vegesna of Lazarus Hospitals
led to spontaneous interest among the researchers (from AGL PG college, etc) and
Teachers (of GITAM University, etc) of various other institutions,
who have graced the meet, which ended with a fine dinner and several group
and mutual discussions of collaborative enterprise by entrepreneurs.

Lecture delivered at http://trusciencetrutechnology.blogspot.com
Research Forum Meeting held on Sunday, the 4th November, 2007 at
1A2 Dolphins Apts, Beside Taj Residency, Visakhapatnam-530002, India.

Prof E.C. La Fond heading the India Ocean Bed Mapping Project of
the United Nations worked as Professor and Founder of the Department of
Oceanography at Andhra University. He was on deputation from the
Scripp's Institute of Oceanography, Lajolla, Sandiego, California, .U.S.A.
Which is the world’s greatest Oceanographic Institution? He mapped the
entire Indian Ocean Bed during 1950-1960 (about) in a special Research
ship, in which many A.U.Departments participated. In 1980-81 he was
invited for a special lecture at the Andhra University and was questioned
after the lecture about the Adam's Bridge- Ramasethu.
He stated, that “The survey revealed that the Bridge was made of
Sand and Big Rocks and rises vertically from the Ocean Bed to the surface.
He said it was built since time immemorial and it was definitely a human
Construction and not a natural formation, either Volcanism or other
Geological Processes as sand and independent rocks as found do not come
together by natural Geological Processes." The Rocks seem to have been
taken from surrounding mountains on the Indian side and the sand from
The Rameswaram Sea shores. There are pillars at regular intervals to support
the bridge as seen in the map (Oxford Atlas).

The Mineralogical composition of the Ramasethu Rocks and
surrounding Mountain rocks can give further proof of the ancient Bridge
construction. This should be taken up by a United Nations Research Team
and the Archeological Department, basing the study at the Andhra
University. The study should be purely scientific, with nothing to do with
Politics or motivated perceptions.

Date of the Ramasethu:

How do we get the time of its construction? It is fortunate that we can
Date it, from the date of Ramayana. As mentioned in the Vishnu Purana
of Vyasa 3100 B.C., Ramayana occurred in Treta- Dwapara Sandhi of the
Twenty fourth Chaturyuga, when Valmiki was Vyasa of the 24th Chaturyuga
and Ramayana was written.

One Chaturyuga is 4,320,000 years. The Chaturyuga consists of four
Yugas - Krita Yuga 1,728,00 years, Treta Yuga 1,296,00 yrs, Dwapara
Yuga 864,000 years and Kaliyuga 432,000 years. Four (4) Chaturyugas have
passed to the present Twenty eighth Chaturyuga since Ramayana. We are in
the Kaliyuga of the 28th Chaturyuga which commenced in 3102 B.C. i.e.
432,000- (3102 +2007 Nov) = 426,899yrs balance. The period elapsed
since Ramayana to date is one Dwaparayuga and one Kaliyuga of the
Twenty Fourth Chaturyuga i.e. Twenty Fifth, Twenty sixth
and Twenty seventh and Krita, Tetra, Dwaparayugas of the Twenty eighth
Chaturyuga and 3120+2007 of the present Kaliyuga.
In Figures the period from Ramayana to 2007 is given in the following Table:
24th Chaturyuga Hindu year begins in March
Kaliyuga 8,64,000 end Chiatra Month.
25th Chaturyuga 432,000
26th Chaturyuga 4,320,000 The Gene for aging has been
27th Chaturyuga 4,320,000 located and very long life is
Present 28th 4,320,000 now possible (Rat experi-
Chaturyuga Krita 1,728,000 ments)
Treta 1,296,000
Dwapara 8,64,000
Kali 3102 B.C
2006 A.D
(2007) 8 Months to Nov.
.Total: 8149108Yrs (cf.The generations of Adam
8 Months lived a thousand years each
- Rama's Rule 11000 per the Bible)
Yrs
18,138,108 yrs
8 Months to Nov.2007.

Thus the Ramasethu was constructed 18,138,109 years back which
Prof. E. C. La Fond had no means of dating and was merely by him as
time immemorial. C14 Radioactive dating is not possible for this long a
period.

Road cum Rail Bridge:

It has for long been envisaged that a Road cum Rail Bridge can be
constructed to connect India with Ceylon and has been proposed by a
Ceylon Minister recently. The Ramasethu site is the best choice for the
Project as the Mannar Peninsula (Island) projects in to the Palk Bay and
there is already a Railway line up to Talaimannar at the tip of the Mannar
Peninsula from Colombo.
On the Indian side there is already a Railway from Mandapam
across the Pamban channel through Pamban, Rameswaram and
Dhonushkodi, on Pamban Island. The Bridge needs to be reconstructed
only over 25 miles of shallow sea above the already existing Ramasethu or
Adam's Bridge which should be very easy. The Pamban Channel Bridge was
constructed by Sri Rama's armies long before the present Rail Bridge.
At one end a retractable bridge span like the Sydney Harbour Bridge
can be constructed to allow ocean going ships to pass through from one side
to the other side of the bridge. Periodic Dredging will keep the passage
Navigable round the year. A Naval post at the retractable Bridge will provide
strategic security.

Tsunami Blocking: The sea wall will cut off any Tsunami arising
from Sumatra reaching South Tamil nadu, Kanyakumari and Lower Kerala.
This Project will thus provide a North-South as well as East-West
connectivity and will satisfy both proponents of the controversy over the
Ramasethu.

Tourist Attraction and Self Financing: Express Trains can be run
from Madras (Chennai) to Colombo and the rail journey across the
Ramasethu will be one of the world's greatest attraction and the
project can finance, itself, when given to a private company.
The Archaeological Department can setup a Tapovan and Museum at
Rameswaram about the Ramasethu which will be a great tourist attraction.
Sri Rama with Bow and Arrow can be enshrined at Dhanushkodi to add to
the Tourism potential.

World Heritage site: Recognition for the Project as a World Heritage
site will provide U.N. Funding.

TEXT:
The Uncertain Materials have been found endowed(1), with certain scientific features (specifically three) subject to the Uncertainty Principle, that were enunciated by the present author and specified in the earlier posting on the website. They were presented At the Research Forum meeting held on the 7th September 2007 and given in the Website posting (2).
The physical aspects of both the positive and negative characters may be directly responsible for the manifest flux conditions. The fundamental entities of both the Discrete and Fuzzy Uncertain materials specified are expected to posses’ heavy mass and exist in inductive links with the environmental conditions of the neighboring bodies. Their interaction with ordinary matter may be weak but has an uncertain impulse that would eventually account for the 1-10% their energy loss.
The concentration of the Uncertain Material into the regions of the Moon (terrestrial), planets and their moons, novae stars, and etc cosmic entities may be apparent. Pristine and the primordial cosmological evolutionary conditions of cosmic
entities and the unpolluted regions of planetary and the satellite systems, readily offer
the exemplary regions of the embedded uncertain materials. The uncertain materials would also be found scattered, in various kinds of shape, size, morphological and topological features. These arise possibly due to refined and regulated exposures of cosmic entities, including the Moons, planets etc to different kind of X-ray, EM and magnetic radiations from the far or near neighbors. The static uncertain material of the various bodies does respond to said such radiations and gets manifested. But the Manned and the Robots exploration of the moons and the planets of Solar systems would become directly responsible for the destruction of the pristine cosmic environment in which, the uncertain materials existed hence probably billion years of age.
The recent finding (3), for example, established that the Oxygen evolved into terrestrial atmosphere by the combined effect of Sun Rays and the photosynthesis nearly 2.5 billion years ago.
The careful observations made by the present author (kln), of the nearest Moon approach to the earth, during 25th/26th October 2007, revealed several regions of pristine
and unpolluted region of concentrations of the uncertain materials. Surprisingly, they have also been found strewn over the entire lunar surface, but also on the mountain Cliffs (nearly 20-40) and on the highs of the crater depression valleys of the Moon.
The state-of-the-art technique adopted and the analysis of observation of the uncertain material is quite characteristic. This, however, considerably differed, from the state-of-art techniques employed for the analysis of observations made to study the Mars (3) during its closest encounter with the earth. The observations made revealed those origin theories of the terrestrial Moon and possibly other moons and planets have a new
dimension of analysis.
The formula of time of Planck, given by square root of reduced Planck’s action (hcross) times Gravitational Universal constant G and divided by square of the velocity of Light gets modified. From this modified equation of the uncertain materials we note that the lower limit of time has something to do with the Quantum Physics and Gravity.
