In video filmed on April 14 ahead of a storm and at a time of higher-than-average water levels, exploding spray shoots waves more than 50ft into the air against the shore. While it is awesome for wave watching to experience these conditions, it, unfortunately, causes much erosion and other shoreline damage too. It is humbling to be in the presence of Lake Superior when she's whipped into a frenzy. The power of those thundering waves is absolutely incredible! Sustained winds topped 30mph with gusts well above 50 mph. Wave heights were sometimes greater than 15feet. The exploding spray shot more than 50 feet into the air. This is not the ocean.

April 19, 2018: Final fruit was a delicious African berry from deep in the Congo. Delhi Doctor Discovers Shockingly Simple Way To Lose 1Kg Per Day Without Diet or Exercise. The first all-natural weight loss solution! In medical school, I took a class on ancient medicines, and I recalled my professor telling me how this one specific African tribe would ritually eat these fruits to raise their metabolism before they went out hunting so that they had higher agility and energy. The tribe was known for its hunting skills and had survived for centuries without being threatened by another tribe. I knew for a tribe to survive this long they probably had some ace up their sleeves. My colleagues thought I was crazy when I mentioned this final experiment. “You’re actually trying to cure obesity with magic fruit?” They all laughed, “You’re living in a fantasy!”. When the shipment of the rare fruit arrived, I was nervous but I knew I had nothing to lose. I dried the fruit using my oven, crushed it and then mixed it with a saline solution. I poured this saline solution on fat tissue we had grown in the lab and went home hoping for the best. The next morning I walked into the lab half prepared to be disappointed. However, I was shocked to see more than half the fat had literally melted away. I couldn’t believe my eyes. This simple fruit had literally melted the same type of fat once considered impossible to lose! In all my years of research and medicine I'd never seen something like this. On a chemical level the fruit had accelerated the breakdown of fat into energy and boosted the metabolism of the cells in the fat tissue which is why the tribal men going for hunting were so full of energy. Their fat was being converted into energy almost instantly! I began to jump for joy. This was the solution I had been looking for! I knew if I went to the university to run human trials it will take me months to get permission but I didn’t want to wait so long so I decided to be the guinea pig and test it on myself. I knew I had no time to lose so I started eating a spoonful of the extract daily and recorded my results. After one week, I was totally shocked. My energy levels were up, and I wasn't even hungry. I got on the scale and couldn't believe my eyes. I had lost 5.7 Kg. I was impressed but still not convinced. Afterall, I could just be losing water weight as you do at the beginning of any diet. I continued taking the fruit extract and every day I woke up with even more energy. I was also sleeping more soundly than ever before. I was no longer waking up during the night and tossing and turning because my body was actually able to relax (I suspect this is a result of getting rid of toxins). After another week passed I managed to lose an additional 6.3 Kg, putting me at an unbelievable 12 Kg of weight loss, in just 2 weeks.

23 April 2018: Nasa Can't Explain Images of Strange Ice Circles in Arctic Sea. In a routine flyover in the Arctic ocean earlier this month, a NASA scientist photographed images of mysterious ice holes over the eastern Beaufort Sea. The holes appear to be the first of their kind ever captured on film, and researchers are struggling to understand what they are and how they got there. NASA’s Operation IceBridge mission scientist John Sonntag captured the images on April 14, marking in his field log, “I don’t recall seeing this sort of thing elsewhere,” NASA reported. The holes were noted about 50 miles northwest of Canada’s Mackenzie River Delta, and although the main purpose of the trip was to make observations of sea ice, somehow the mysterious holes became the highlight of the trip.

23 Apr, 2018:   A thick fog caused major delays at Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport on Monday, the Australian authorities said. Several domestic flights were cancelled due to poor visibility. No international flights were, however, affected. With visibility reduced to 50 metre.
Sun. 22 April  2018:at  00:05BST:  Mozambique prays for rain as water shortages hit country’s poor. Taps in capital city of Maputo being turned off every other day as climate change exacerbates southern African drought. A water crisis, partly caused by an ongoing drought affecting much of southern Africa, is already reversing progress in this coastal city.
23 April 2018: MANAGUA, Nicaragua: An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.6 has struck in the Pacific off the coast of Nicaragua. The temblor was centred about 102 miles (165 km) west-northwest of the capital of Managua and 40 miles (64 km) west of the town of Chinandega. The earthquake occurred around 8:30 p.m. Monday at a depth of about 28 miles (46 km).

Flooding roads and displacing families and people warned to brace themselves for a fresh battering till Tuesday  24 April. Rough sea and intermminant wave surge along Kollam, Alappuzha, Kochi, Ponnani, Kozhikode, and Kasargod coast till Monday mid-night possible due high-period swell waves.  These waves would affect low-lying areas of Kerals, Andaman and Nicobar islands and West Bengal are particularly vulnerable to these waves of 2 to 3 meters high. Upto 24 April this would continue.   The swell waves are induced by winds blocking the Westerlies for more than three days off the tip of the African coast. The high energy waves travelled more than 2000km across the ocean to hit the Indian coast.

Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi has expressed sympathy with people affected by the rare heavy rains over the past two days. The downpour had caused flash floods on the streets, leaving parts of the capital, Cairo, and other parts of Egypt impassable. Footage on social media showed floods, leaky ceilings and parked cars completely submerged in water.

Fig.7 Watercolours in Sikkim all north-eastern
states receiving good rains past four days.
Thunderclouds hover over Gangtok, Sikkim capital last four days experiencing pre-monsoon showers and all the north-eastern states have been receiving good rains.
Northeast India had been recording good pre-Monsoon rains since last many days. However, during the past day, the intensity of rain decreased over many states. Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura recorded isolated pre Monsoon rains only. In fact, Nagaland witnessed complete dry weather conditions. Meanwhile, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya recorded good rainfall activity. A cyclonic circulation is over West Assam and adjoining Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and a trough is extending from this system to up the Southern Peninsula. In fact, the remnants of the Western Disturbance are moving slowly across the upper regions of Arunachal Pradesh. It is anticipated that pre-Monsoon rains would continue to occur over Northeast India but with decreased intensity. Scattered rain and thundershower will continue to occur over Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh.  Meanwhile, isolated activity is expected over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
27 April 2018: SUPERNOVA COMPANION: Washington:  NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has captured the first image of a surviving companion to a supernova, a compelling evidence that some supernovas originate in double-star systems, the US space agency said. Seventeen years ago, astronomers had witnessed a supernova go off 40 million light-years away in the galaxy called NGC 7424, located in the southern constellation Grus, the Crane, the NASA statement said. The image of the companion star was seen in the fading afterglow of that supernova, called SN 2001ig. SN 2001ig is categorised as a Type IIb stripped-envelope supernova. This type of supernova is unusual because most, but not all, of the hydrogen is gone prior to the explosion.
27 April 2018: pile-up of galaxies detected 12.4 billion light-years away from Earth looks set to radically change current thinking about the early universe.  The collision of 14 galaxies, which occurred more than 12 billion years ago has been detected 90% of the way across the observable cosmos. In effect, astronomers have been able to look back in time to when the universe was about a tenth its current age and have recorded the formation of a galactic protocluster, a precursor to the type of enormous galaxy clusters that are the largest-known objects in today's universe. Designated as SPT2349-56, the protocluster has a mass about 10 trillion times greater than our sun and according to conventional wisdom.
27 April 2018: Archaeologists unearthed the remains of more than 140 children and 200 young llamas from what appeared to have been a ritual sacrifice that took place 550 years ago on a bluff along the northern coast, NG reported Thursday. The children, both boys and girls, ranged from five to fourteen-years-old, evidence shows. Based on the layers of mud at the site, archaeologists believe the sacrificial ritual was a single event.
27 April 2018: JERUSALEM: The Latest on the deadly flash floods in Israel (all times local): 8:30 p.m. Israel's rescue service says nine teenagers have died in flash floods while hiking south of the Dead Sea.
It says they were all 18 years old. Israeli media say that eight of the fatalities were female and one was male. Reports say another hiker is still missing. Earlier, spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said 25 students in a pre-army course were "caught off guard" and some were "washed away" Thursday by heavy rains as they were hiking in the area. The Dead Sea, the world's lowest point at about 1,400 feet below sea level, is surrounded by desert and generally arid cliffs. Rain can come rushing down the steep descents, causing sudden and violent torrents in otherwise dry spots.
Friday 27 April 2018: Rapidly rising sea level might force a climate-sceptic regime to rethink its policies and safeguard lives and security assets. The impact of sea-level rise inundation combined with annual wave-driven flooding will begin to significantly negatively impact Roi-Namur when mean sea level is 0.4 metres higher than at present. At this point, without active management measures, the annual amount of seawater flooded onto the island during storms will be of sufficient volume to make the groundwater non-potable year-round.
27 April 2018: The Visakhapatnam sea level have also risen and thrashing waves along the Beach coast at Maharanipeta is predominant, the sea has moved forward from a distance of 15 feet during the last few days.
28 April 2018:South (Dakshina) coastal towns recorded 42C, Rayalseema 40C, western winds blowing the temperatures would raise by 3-4C more. Middle India from May the heat wave would increase. Coastal towns here and there would have thundershowers and intense gales the weather warns the people. It is in central India that the rise in temperature is most notorious with high thermal amplitudes. Even if the rain is almost absent, the weather in India throughout April can be inconvenient not only because of the heat but also because of the risk of thunderstorms that happen from time to time. To get away from the heat, focus on the northern regions such as Himachal Pradesh, where a pleasant warmth and beautiful sunshine make the days more enjoyable. As for the province of Jammu and Kashmir, the cold and the storms are still present. Ladakh, Nagpur, Kolkata, Valley of Flowers National Park (Uttrakhand), Madras (Tamil Nadu), Puducherry, Chennai, Leh and Kânyâkumârî in April 2018 because the climate is rather bad.
