It is humbling to be in the presence of Lake Superior when she's whipped into a frenzy. The power of those thundering waves is absolutely incredible! Sustained winds topped 30mph with gusts well above 50 mph. Wave heights were sometimes greater than 15feet. The exploding spray shot more than 50 feet into the air. This is not the ocean.

April 19, 2018: Final fruit was a delicious African berry from deep in the Congo. Delhi Doctor Discovers Shockingly Simple Way To Lose 1Kg Per Day Without Diet or Exercise. The first all-natural weight loss solution! In medical school, I took a class on ancient medicines, and I recalled my professor telling me how this one specific African tribe would ritually eat these fruits to raise their metabolism before they went out hunting so that they had higher agility and energy. The tribe was known for its hunting skills and had survived for centuries without being threatened by another tribe. I knew for a tribe to survive this long they probably had some ace up their sleeves. My colleagues thought I was crazy when I mentioned this final experiment. “You’re actually trying to cure obesity with magic fruit?” They all laughed, “You’re living in a fantasy!”. When the shipment of the rare fruit arrived, I was nervous but I knew I had nothing to lose. I dried the fruit using my oven, crushed it and then mixed it with a saline solution. I poured this saline solution on fat tissue we had grown in the lab and went home hoping for the best. The next morning I walked into the lab half prepared to be disappointed. However, I was shocked to see more than half the fat had literally melted away. I couldn’t believe my eyes. This simple fruit had literally melted the same type of fat once considered impossible to lose! In all my years of research and medicine I'd never seen something like this. On a chemical level the fruit had accelerated the breakdown of fat into energy and boosted the metabolism of the cells in the fat tissue which is why the tribal men going for hunting were so full of energy. Their fat was being converted into energy almost instantly! I began to jump for joy. This was the solution I had been looking for! I knew if I went to the university to run human trials it will take me months to get permission but I didn’t want to wait so long so I decided to be the guinea pig and test it on myself. I knew I had no time to lose so I started eating a spoonful of the extract daily and recorded my results. After one week, I was totally shocked. My energy levels were up, and I wasn't even hungry. I got on the scale and couldn't believe my eyes. I had lost 5.7 Kg. I was impressed but still not convinced. Afterall, I could just be losing water weight as you do at the beginning of any diet. I continued taking the fruit extract and every day I woke up with even more energy. I was also sleeping more soundly than ever before. I was no longer waking up during the night and tossing and turning because my body was actually able to relax (I suspect this is a result of getting rid of toxins). After another week passed I managed to lose an additional 6.3 Kg, putting me at an unbelievable 12 Kg of weight loss, in just 2 weeks.Inhabitat 28mIn. 23 April 2018: Nasa Can't Explain Images of Strange Ice Circles in Arctic Sea. In a routine flyover in the Arctic ocean earlier this month, a NASA scientist photographed images of mysterious ice holes over the eastern Beaufort Sea. The holes appear to be the first of their kind ever captured on film, and researchers are struggling to understand what they are and how they got there. NASA’s Operation IceBridge mission scientist John Sonntag captured the images on April 14, marking in his field log, “I don’t recall seeing this sort of thing elsewhere,” NASA reported. The holes were noted about 50 miles northwest of Canada’s Mackenzie River Delta, and although the main purpose of the trip was to make observations of sea ice, somehow the mysterious holes became the highlight of the trip.

27 April 2018: SUPERNOVA COMPANION: Washington: NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has captured the first image of a surviving companion to a supernova, a compelling evidence that some supernovas originate in double-star systems, the US space agency said. Seventeen years ago, astronomers had witnessed a supernova go off 40 million light-years away in the galaxy called NGC 7424, located in the southern constellation Grus, the Crane, the NASA statement said. The image of the companion star was seen in the fading afterglow of that supernova, called SN 2001ig. SN 2001ig is categorised as a Type IIb stripped-envelope supernova. This type of supernova is unusual because most, but not all, of the hydrogen is gone prior to the explosion.

The collision of 14 galaxies, which occurred more than 12 billion years ago has been detected 90% of the way across the observable cosmos. In effect, astronomers have been able to look back in time to when the universe was about a tenth its current age and have recorded the formation of a galactic protocluster, a precursor to the type of enormous galaxy clusters that are the largest-known objects in today's universe. Designated as SPT2349-56, the protocluster has a mass about 10 trillion times greater than our sun and according to conventional wisdom.

Friday 27 April 2018: Rapidly rising sea level might force a climate-sceptic regime to rethink its policies and safeguard lives and security assets. The impact of sea-level rise inundation combined with annual wave-driven flooding will begin to significantly negatively impact Roi-Namur when mean sea level is 0.4 metres higher than at present. At this point, without active management measures, the annual amount of seawater flooded onto the island during storms will be of sufficient volume to make the groundwater non-potable year-round.
