ABSTRACT
                   The fragments of DNA neither belong to Neanderthal nor Denisovan nor even to most of contemporary human groups. Natural selection acting on genes determines the height of short statures of Jarawa and Onge people. Rushikonda beach in Visakhapatnam moves forward and backwards due to the winds and gales and its movement is not related to the Full moon or the No Moon days affect. The affect noticed on the sea shore facing the RK Mission as well on the 5 August 2016. Huge region around the centre of Milky Way is devoid of young stars, projects the newer concept of how galaxy is evolved. On 8 August, the flood situation in Assam improved with 34 people have died though Brahmaputra tributary’s Dhansiri flowing above danger mark. Heavy to very heavy rain occurred in Rajasthan, with Kota recording 19 cm, Aklera 16 cm rains. Punjab and Haryana too received heavy showers.  7 August 2016, in Jammu the river Tawi after heavy rain flooded on Sunday.                    Varanasi the pilgrim town and the Ganga River of very fast flow, has several ghats of observation and enjoyment of its flow. It is reported that Varanasi only two ghats are allowed for burning of the dead bodies, but should be burnt totally and the remaining ashes may be immersed in the middle of the River. She spent from 25 July to 3 August in and around the city of Varanasi, during along with purohits who visited Varanasi along with her and at her utmost guidance. The main priest of 86 old was very concerned of her welfare.
       It was raining in Visakhapatnam since morning on 1 August 2016, as a drizzle.

                            Many trees have been harvested to extract taxol, to treat cancer. It is more than 40 metres tall with diameter of 1.68 metres. It is living fossil as it existed for 2.5 million years.

 2 August 2016
                  Guwahati 310 animals including 221 hog deer and 21 one-horned rhinos (ten were calves), in Kaziranga National Park lost their lives due to devasting floods of Assam from July 25 this year. Animal mortality was highest in 2012. About 106 animals saved with the help of local residents. Water was receding fast and out of 130 inundated camps, only 70 were currently under water. Rhinos were straying across NH-37.
2 August 2016
                    Heavy overnight rains lashed south and east central Gujarat. Heavy rains lash south Gujarat causing flash floods; 5 dead. Auranga River in Valsad was flowing above danger level, due to incessant rains, flooding three villages situated in low-lying areas along its bank. In south Gujarat, Valsad received 245 mm rainfall in 24 hours till this morning, Navsari 96 mm, Dangs 104 mm of rainfall. Chhota Udepur in east-central Gujarat received 28 mm rainfall. The state has received 299.27 mm rainfall, or 37.55 per cent of average rainfall.
                   
 HEAVY RAINS IN GUJARAT
                  Heavy rains caused flash floods lashed south and east central Gujarat about 5 people died. Flood like situation in Valsad, Navasari and Surat districts, on Tuesday. Anurag river flowing above danger mark, and Valsad received 245 mm rainfall in 24 hours till Tuesday morning, Navsari received 96 mm Dang 104 mm total state received 292.27 mm rainfall. Anuraga river flowing at 11.5 m about one metre above danger mark about dozen villages affected. Vapi also flowing near danger mark. Cyclonic circulation over Gujarat over 3.1 to 3.6 km above sea level causing rains.

               A huge sinkhole opened up in China on Wednesday, 3 August 2016 • 5:35pm, the road breaking up due to the rain.

MUMBAI-GOA bridge disaster
     A bridge to Goa collapsed at midnight Wednesday, 3 August, throwing of several cars, a three wheeler and two buses into the river flowing to the sea, and only 21 bodies recovered as on Friday. Raigad fears that about 42 people died in the mishap.

KRISHNA AND GODAVARI WOULD SWELL
                     Central government gave a warning that the two Rivers Krishna and Godavari would swell from 4 to 7 days. Maharashtra, Karanataka, Telangana  have been warned, by central government that the Rivers Krishna and Godavari would swell since the projects have become full and hence the water may be released to lower states. All these days all the dams need to be watched for the excessive inflows in Andhra. [News 3 August 2016].

Handwoven silks a pride of Varanasi

        The handwoven saree sells around Rs.10,000\- or more and finer the creation was sold for thousands of dollars. According locals there were over a lakh hand looms in Varanasi till about 10 to 12 years ago. But, now the number has dwindled to 25,000 to 30,000 looms. There are about 70,000 hand looms around Varanasi today. At one time it was worth 80 million dollars in exports. No exports and hence the craft dwindled. It takes 12 to 15 days for a saree to be completed. It fetches only Rs.200 to Rs.250 per day while power loom fetches anywhere from Rs.500 to Rs.600/-per day. Many shifting to ‘chai wala’ trade.              Major flooding in Beijing after the heaviest rain storm in 60 years.  At least 25 people drowned in Saturday's rains, the heaviest in the capital since records began in 1951. Six died in housing collapses, five were electrocuted and one person was struck by lightning. The same storm left another 17 people dead and 21 missing in the neighbouring province of Hebei, the China News Service said. In the worst-hit district of Fangshan, on the mountainous southwestern outskirts of China's sprawling capital, residents described how roads flooded in minutes, submerging vehicles and destroying houses.

      Chittoor 36 C(26.4C), Ongole 34.3C (28.4C), Kadapa 34C (27C), Anatapuram 33.4C (25.2C), Hyderabad 32.4C(21.6C), Guntur 31C (24C) and Visakhapatnam28.8C (25.4C) .I felt chilly in the night at Visakhapatnam on the 4 August 2016.On Thursday 4 August 2016,  Perooru, Venkatapuram 11cm, Dhumagudem, Manugur 10 cm, Eturunagaram 9 cm rainfall was recorded.
WATER FLOWS IN ANDHRA
     Alimetta (23 gates lifted) and Narayanapura (25 gates lifted) floods and Jurala dam 13 gates lifted relieved 1.25 cusecs water from Krishana River and by Friday Rayalseema would get water. Crest level touched Srisailam water level. Slightly enhanced Godavari River flow causing anxiety.

   Toronto Dight Sepharan Scientist, declared that Vitamin B2 Flavin component may be used as a cathode, by using a gene modified has set up the Flavin atoms were arranged as a chain. Battery made with very cheap plastic material that reduces even the environmental pollution.
4 August 2016 
           MIAMI AND MEICO CITY 16 hours ago: The National Hurricane Centre in Miami revealed the Category 1 storm is pushing west at 14 mph (23 kph), resulting in hurricane warnings issued in Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico south to the Belize – Guatemala boarder. Tropical storm warnings have been put in place North of Puerto Costa Maya up to Punta Allen, Mexico. Despite being reduced to a tropical storm, Earl is expected to still cause damage as it moves along. Flooding and landslides in higher terrain areas of Belize is also expected while certain areas of Mexico could receive up to 18 inches of rain, which could result in life-threatening flash floods and mudslides.
MUMBAI HEAVY RAINS 4 and 5 August 2016
             Heavy rains since morning flooded many parts of Mumbai, disrupting rail and road traffic as well as flights, officials said. The downpour led to water-logging in parts of south and central Mumbai as well as eastern and western suburbs, leading to major traffic jams in the morning peak hour. Traffic crawled at a snail's pace on major thoroughfares like Eastern Express and Western Express highways and major north-south roads, delaying tens of thousands. Suburban train services on western railway, central railway and harbour line ran 15-30 minutes late. The central railway was hit due to flooded tracks near Sion-Kurla. The cascading effect affected the other two lines. Besides Mumbai, the adjoining districts of Thane, Palghar and Raigad were also lashed by heavy rains, slowing traffic on all major routes linking Mumbai with Ahmedabad, Pune, Nashik and Goa
 5 August 2016
       Rain in Visakhapatnam was just a sprinkle but continued all the three days with no full Sun shine at all.
        Flood situation in Assam eases with floodwaters receding on Friday 5 August, with water levels of Brahmaputra and its tributaries falling down even as 1.27 lakh people in ten districts remained affected by the calamity.
         Bihar flood toll climbs to 89 overall in 14 districts, about 33 lakh people were hit by the flood. Purnia district reported maximum number of deaths about26, followed by 23 in Araria, 15 in Katihar, eight in Supaul and five in Krishnaganj.    
           Heavy rain in Mumbai disrupted normal life on 5 August, with suburban services disturbed due to water logging. Konan and Central Maharashtra facing the brunt in next 24 hours.

        The Hurricane Earl brought down a bridge at Menchor de Mencos due to heavy rains on Thursday 4 August 2016, and Guntemalan emergency committee inspected it.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY 6 and 7 August 2016: 
                   Nagavali in spate hits Cashew nut wagers held more than 12 hours on Saturday evening, they were rescued by police and fire officials on Sunday morning. It was brimming owing to heavy rains in catchment area during the last few days. They were hired to apply fertilizers to cashew nut and sugarcane farms. About 28 labourers living in make shift tents in the orchards. They were anxious throughout night of Saturday, since only nine new swimming and others stranded were afraid in the night that they may be washed away as the water level rose. They were saved on Sunday morning.

FLOOD HIT BIHAR: 
                Surrounded by Kosi’s  water, with all roads submerged for several days, by rain water villagers of Banahi Tola, about 50 km from Saharsa in Salakhuna block, have been forced eat only cooked rats report on Sunday 7 August. Dalit Musahar community impoverished people, flood made life miserable. Every day they hunt 12 kg of rats during the floods and sell them Rs.40 a kilogram. Handpumps out of order there is no safe drinking water. District manager pleaded ignorance. Riveine belt is very rich and so people have not moved out.

Aug 7: Storm, which caused flash floods in Macedonia capital Skopje, has killed at least 20 people, media reports said on Sunday. Their bodies were found before 8:30 (06:30 GMT) on Sunday, an official was quoted as saying by BBC.Six people are still missing.According to reports, several people were drowned in their cars while several cars were swept away into nearby fields.

7 & 8 AUGUST 2016
          It was a cloudy weather on the 7, but on 8 it cleared giving glimpses of the Sun shine very hot.

8 August 2016 
        The day temperature rose up to 36.2C (27.5C) it was simmering hot throughout the day in the mid-day there were hot winds blowing. Both the states have increased hot Sun from Monday morning. Sudden increase of two to three degrees higher temperatures were noticed on Monday. (Hyderabad 32.4C(22.5C), Kakinada 36.5C(26.5C), Kadapa 37C(25C), Guntur 37.5C(26C), Chittoor 37.6C(28C) and Ongole 38.2C(28.2C).

            Heavy rains continue to wreak havoc in the Northern States of the country. Poor people drink water from a tap at the flooded bank in Allahabad on Tuesday, 9 August.


10 August 2016 EAST INDIA GOOD RAINS

                A deep depression which is now lying over South Bangladesh and adjoining West Bengal. This system is expected to move in a northwest direction during next 24 hours. Moreover, it is also likely to weaken and lose strength gradually. Good rains have been lashing Gangetic West Bengal, coastal parts of Odisha and parts of Bihar. During last 24 hours, Gaya received 10 mm of rainfall and Patna 14 mm. Supaul also received 22 mm of rains. Kolkata in West Bengal received 22.7 mm of rainfall. In Uttar Pradesh, Gorakhpur received 1.8 mm of rainfall while Bahraich received 7.2 mm. As soon as the deep depression moves inland, it will weaken and start moving faster. Initially, rain intensity will increase over Jharkhand and then Bihar. Light to moderate rains will be observed over many parts of Bihar and Jharkhand. Gradually, the rain belt will cover east Uttar Pradesh. The axis of the Monsoon trough will further move northwards. 
11 August 2016
              Very dry weather, cloudy but no rain at Visakhapatnam, contrasting Y'Day weather extremely hot. Forecast for Aug 11: Heavy rains in West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, light rain in Delhi.
                Pathankot in Himachala Pradesh, 44 years old bridge collapsed due to heavy rains of the past few days in Kangra Village on Thursday 11 August afternoon. About 160 meters length, with about 10 pillars supporting it, nearly 76 meters bridge has collapsed. Himachala Pradesh several villages and traffic towards Punjab got disoriented. 
12 August 
           Temperature at Visakhapatnam was very intense and till 4.30 PM it continued to be hot. Luckily in the evening it was not hot. Varalakshmi Day on 12 August, was celebrated by all people with great reverence and purchased several items of the Devi Puja, in the market in the evening of 11 August, and market was very brisk.
           
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY 11 and 12 August 2016.
         Heavy showers on Friday may have given Delhiites respite from the muggy weather but brought the city to a standstill with snarls and waterlogging reported from several areas of the national capital. According to the met department, the city recorded 35mm rain between Thursday and Friday evening. It brought down the temperature with the maximum settling at 33 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.2 degrees Celsius, one notch below average.

          At least one dead, two injured as rains pound U.S. Gulf Coast; August 13, 2016: Two counties, Pike and Amite, were experiencing flash and river flooding after being inundated with more than 10 inches (25.4 cm) of rain since midnight.

August 14, 2016

         A flash flood watch and flood warnings for eastern regions of the state, including New Orleans, and southern Mississippi. Over 17 inches (43 cm) of rain had battered parts of Louisiana by Saturday morning, with another several inches expected later in the day and on Sunday. BATON ROUGE, La. (Reuters) - Torrential rainfall along the U.S. Gulf Coast has caused "unprecedented" flooding in parts of Louisiana, on Saturday, while claiming at least two lives across the region. 14 August
            Heavy rain at Visakhapatnam, thrilled people and on 14 August 2016 also weather is somewhat cloudy but no rain in the morning. My friend S S Bhide, from Mumbai, Chunnabhatti area informed me the Mumbai rain this year was only moderate but not the usual heavy downpour. Northern States still continued of heavy rains and Ganga and Yamuna Rivers overflowing in Ahmedabad.

SANSKRIT DEPARTMENT OF AU
             Job opportunities being dismally few many students refrain joining the Sanskrit Department, which has presently three regular staffers, two guest faculty, two post-doctoral fellows, and four fellowship holders who engage the classes. Madam K. Gayathri Devi, Principal of AU colleges of Arts reports as a news item in The Indian Express Paper.
     During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Sunday, 14 August 2016, Lucknow recorded a whopping 91.3 mm of rainfall. Minimum temperatures have also taken a dip and are currently settling at 23.2 degrees. 
      The water levels in the Yamuna River have breached the danger levels after a barrage in Haryana discharged water. The incident has caused the Delhi Government to deploy flood and disaster management teams as well. The old Yamuna Bridge also known as the Loha pul has been closed to traffic. The water level at the Yamuna River was above the warning levels of 204 metres Cusecs of water was released from Hathini Kund Bridge in Haryana. 

15 August 2016

It was drizzling in Visakhapatnam continuously since 11.00 AM. Weather has become quite cold. Only slight rainfall on the Independence Day at Delhi.
