ABSTRACT
SK Chakrabarti Head of the Astrophysics Department of SN Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences in Salt Lake found a fifteen minutes method of determining the mass of a Black Hole published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society. The quake 7.1R in magnitude, 130 km north-east of Te Araroa at a depth of 55km at 4.37am, was felt from Northland to Wellington in the North Island, and in the top of the South Island. Severe reports were felt in Gisborne and the Bay of Plenty. In verses 18.30-35 of his work, Brhamagupta expounds the sign rules and arithmetic of zero and negative numbers, with product of a negative with a positive is negative, and product of two negatives is positive, Western people developed aversion to these, as they said they were “irrational creations”.   Arithmetic of negative numbers first surviving treatise. David Mumford, Field Medallist endorsed it. Tropical Storm Hermine batters Georgia, forecasters warn of ‘life-threatening floods’ along the East Coast. September 2 at 3:05 PM. APALACHICOLA, Fla., Hermine slammed into Florida’s Gulf Coast early Friday as a Category 1 hurricane, the strongest storm to hit the state in more than a decade. Saturday's quake, in  which struck 14 km northwest of Pawnee in north-central Oklahoma at 7.02 am local time had a magnitude of 5.6. The earthquake, which had a depth of 6.6km.Mexican resort town of Acapulco, authorities said Sunday. Torrential rains which began Saturday morning caused 33 rock and landslides on interstate highways and the Ayutla-Cruz Grande federal highway. CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico: at 5:25 a.m 6 Sept. 2016: Hurricane Newton has made landfall on Mexico's Baja California peninsula near Cabo San Lucas. Newton's winds on Tuesday morning were around 90 mph (150 kph). Visakhapatnam recorded immense heat and the hot weather is gripping the town last few days 6 to 9 September 2016. There was another stunning display of the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights over Rovaniemi in Finland on Monday (September 5) as atmospheric conditions on the sun fuelled another breath taking night sky. Scientists predict the existence of a new boson:  New Madala boson might assist in the understanding of dark matter: September 6, 2016: A project team consists of approximately 35 young South African and African students and researchers. A slow-spinning magnetar located inside supernova, Neutron star IE 1613 that rotates every 24000 seconds located in the centre of RCW 103, about 9000 light years away from Earth (June 22, 2016). A strong 6.3R quake strikes off Australia Antarctic 05:51 AM, at southwest of remote Macquarie Island where Australia maintains a small Antarctic base. The earthquake, recorded at a depth of 10 km, struck at 1227 GMT.  11 Sept. 2016, it rained in the evening for about an hour from 17:20 PM to 18:20 PM at Muralinagar in Visakhapatnam. Dragonfly 44 is an incredibly large but diffuse and dim galaxy. Encircling its core is a halo made up of clusters of stars, much like what we see in the Milky Way. But this galaxy is only 0.1% stars. A huge amount of gravity was working to hold those stars in place, and once researchers used star velocity to measure how much mass the galaxy contained, they realized that the other 99.9% is dark matter. To put this in perspective, Dragonfly 44 is comparable in size to the Milky way. Patna Sept.12, 2016: 12:46 IST: PATNA: Heavy rains lashed the state capital city, paralysing normal life with several localities remaining submerged in knee-deep water today. We have received more than 100 mm rainfall in the city.  MIT and Georgia Institute Scientists developed the algorithms that acquire images from individual sheets in stacks of papers. They also help to identify individual distorted letters or incomplete images. System uses terahertz radiation that distinguish between ink and blank papers, and has much depth resolution. South Korea, Colombia and ANDAMAN ISLANDS have experienced Earthquakes during respectively the days 13, 14 and 15 September 2016.

DETAILS
The first September 2016 began with a cloudy weather in Visakhapatnam, following the mild shower during the early morning. Second September was throughout the day it was cloudy, and in the night it rained.

Royal Astronomical Society
Its interesting that one is able to find the mass of a black hole. SK Chakrabarti Head of the Astrophysics Department of SN Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences in Salt Lake found a fifteen minutes method of determining the mass of a black hole published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, one of the world’s oldest and leading Journals on Astronomy and Astrophysics published from London.

EARTHQUAKE IN NEW ZEALAND 2 September 2016
Residents of a small community on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island have been told they can return to their homes, after a severe earthquake at sea sparked a tsunami warning. The 7.1m quake struck 169 km (105 miles) north-east of Gisborne on Friday morning local time. The quake’s epicentre was deep in the ocean, northeast of the town of Te Araroa in the Gisborne district of the North Island. It generated a small tsunami, but with no significant damage or injuries. A swarm of 100 aftershocks has continued to plague the North Island's East Cape since a severe earthquake struck early on Friday morning. The quake  7.1R in magnitude, 130 km north-east of Te Araroa at a depth of 55km at 4.37am, was felt from Northland to Wellington in the North Island, and in the top of the South Island. Severe reports were felt in Gisborne and the Bay of Plenty.

The Arthashastra and Irrational Creations
Indians were most likely aware of negative numbers long before Brahmagupta. David Mumford, Field Medallist, cites that in Chapter 6 of Arthashastra (circa 4 Century BC), Chanakya details how accounts were kept with clearly aware of deficits.
Already in seventh century, the full arithmetic of negative numbers in Brhamagupta’s treatise named Brahmasphutasiddhanta, though it may be surprising that John Wallis’ Algebra in the west published only in 1685.

HERMINE SLAMMED FLORIDA
Tropical Storm Hermine batters Georgia, forecasters warn of ‘life-threatening floods’ along the East Coast. September 2 at 3:05 PM. APALACHICOLA, Fla., Hermine slammed into Florida’s Gulf Coast early Friday as a Category 1 hurricane, the strongest storm to hit the state in more than a decade, bringing heavy rain, powerful winds and storm surges that forced some evacuations as the system began its crawl up the Atlantic Coast. Hundreds of thousands of people lost power, while at least one death was blamed on Hermine, which was downgraded to a tropical storm shortly before 5 a.m., just a few hours after making landfall in Florida. Authorities warned Friday of powerful winds as the storm was expected to move through Georgia and into South Carolina and North Carolina on Friday. A tropical storm warning was issued from North Carolina to Delaware, while tropical storm watches were issued as far north as New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island.  “The combination of a storm surge and the tide will cause normally dry areas near the coast to be flooded by rising waters moving inland from the shoreline.” The storm was about 80 miles west of Charleston, S.C., by Friday afternoon, the centre said, with maximum sustained winds of 50 mph and some higher gusts. The centre also warned of “the possibility of life-threatening inundation” through Sunday morning around the North Carolina-Virginia border and in Bridgeport, Conn. In addition, it said heavy rains across the Southeast as well as along the coast from Georgia to Maryland could “cause life-threatening floods and flash floods.”

South of Tallahassee, the town of Cedar Key saw a 6.6ft (two-metre) storm surge, raising high tide to almost 10ft. Images from the town posted on social media showed significant flooding.

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico: at 5:25 a.m 6 Sept. 2016: Hurricane Newton has made landfall on Mexico's Baja California peninsula near Cabo San Lucas. Newton's winds  on tuesday morning were around 90 mph (150 kph) and the storm is expected to still be a hurricane when it makes its second landfall on the northwest coast of mainland Mexico early Wednesday. State Tourism Secretary Genaro Ruiz said about 14,000 tourists remained in Los Cabos as of Monday night as airlines cancelled flights out as the storm approached. Ruiz said tourists had been advised to remain in their hotels. Newton is expected to move up the peninsula and enter the Gulf of California by Tuesday night. The hurricane centre says the storm is likely to continue north and cross into southern Arizona as a tropical depression Wednesday night.

Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights.
There was another stunning display of the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights over Rovaniemi in Finland on Monday (September 5) as atmospheric conditions on the sun fuelled another breath taking night sky. In Rovaniemi, just south of the Arctic Circle, the heavens were green for much of the evening, occasionally exploding into rolling waves of colour that lit up the night. It is the eighth time in ten days that the Northern Lights have been witnessed in the area, with local stargazers ascribing the event to a high coronal hole on the surface of the sun, coupled with strong solar winds.

MADALA BOSON
Scientists predict the existence of a new boson:  New Madala boson might assist in the understanding of dark matter: September 6, 2016: A project team consists of approximately 35 young South African and African students and researchers who are currently contributing to the understanding of the data coming out of the LHC experiments. The Madala Boson interacts with Dark Matter, which makes about 27% of the present Universe. Dark matter is thought to be the gravitational 'glue' that holds the galaxies together, while just 5 per cent the Universe consists of known material such as atoms and subatomic particles.
