Second Fortnight of October 2011 Astronomy & Weather Scenario in Visakhapatnam

ABSTRACT:

The continued speedy development activity along the Coast with the foreign and global companies’ huge investments is making an enormous change in the ecological environment of the India coast.  The rural outfit, village environment and the agency regions are fast disappearing and the en-mass exodus of people to urban regions and nearby towns is taking place, even without the people knowing the cause of it. On 22^nd Oct.2011 at 10h51mAm the Gravity waves generated by a possible distant earth trembler has been image captured on 18^th October 2911 at 02h46mAM. The streak off light is the splendid Orionid beautifully captured. Another pair of Crinoids arising from the Nebulae regions of the Hunter is very fascinating and this constitute the first time report and record of such an event of the Astrophysics observations of the sky. I am fortunate to obtain it recorded on the 18^th October 2011 at 02h50mAM. The path indicates where the Orinoids have suffered glow-fire interactions of the interplanetary atmosphere.  In the noxious Nebulae region the only possibility is for the molecular massive cluster formations. They have ejected these Rao and Anti Rao Plasma Fire balls that rolled from the Nebulae region in a process of quantum tunneling.

INTRODUCTION:

Ultraviolet Light: Standard Star

            Extend Orion's belt to find Sirius and Aldeberan representing the deer piercer and Rohini. They are roughly equidistant from Orion's belt but on opposite sides of the belt.  Alnilam, (SOMA) a hot B (B0) bright supergiant, is notably the most luminous: it is brightest even though farthest away, half again farther than the other two (which lie at nearly the same distance, about 870 light years). Hindu astronomy asserts that the three arrow (belt) stars are Agni, Soma, and Vishnu representing the shaft, head, and point of the arrow. Vishnu was the solar or supreme god. Soma was both the god's ambrosia and the moon. Agni was the fire god. From Alnilam's measured (though rather uncertain) distance of 1340 light years, it spectacularly radiates (after correction for its great amount of ultraviolet light) 375,000 solar luminosities from its 25,000 Kelvin surface, and is so hot that it illuminates its own (faint) nebulous cloud from the surrounding interstellar gases. Alnilam has served for many years as a "standard star" against which to compare others. Its brilliant blue and relatively simple spectrum also provides a fine background against which to study the gases of the intervening interstellar space. Like most supergiants, Alnilam is losing mass. A powerful wind blows from the star's surface at speeds up to 2000 kilometers per second, the flow rate two millionths of a solar mass per year (20 million times that from the Sun). Though seemingly single, which disallows direct measure of mass by means of a double-star orbit, the luminosity tells of an evolving star with a mass some 40 times solar. Currently only 4 or so million years old, its internal hydrogen fusion is shutting down, if it has not done so already. The star will shortly turn into a magnificent red supergiant far more luminous than nearby (on the sky) Betelgeuse, its only fate someday to explode.

Weather

0. NPP:

Circling the globe at an altitude of 824km, NPP will become a key sentinel for watching over a changing Earth. A Delta rocket carried the satellite aloft, launching from California, US, at 0720 local time (1420 GMT).  The technology to sense this property from orbit is a recent innovation. Salinity is of interest to researchers because it is both a determinant of ocean behavior and a tool to diagnose what might be happening in the climate system. Smos will map of the variation in the wetness of the land and of the quantity of salts dissolved in sea water. These are key parameters that can tell scientists how water is cycling around the planet - from the surface to the atmosphere and back again."These two variables have never been measured from space before; that means never measured globally," says Dr Yann Kerr, a lead investigator on the mission from the Center for the Study of the Biosphere from Space (Cesbio), Toulouse, France. Evaporation, transpiration, precipitation - these are all stages on the grand wheel of water. As the Sun heats the ocean and water vapor rises skyward, the sea surface becomes a little more saline as salts are left behind. When the clouds move across the land and it rains, the precipitation will soak the earth.Smos will see these changes; and putting some more precise numbers on the variations over time will assist scientists as they seek to make better weather forecasts and understand key features of the climate system.

Snow Storm:

A rare October snow storm that struck across the region from Virginia all the way to Maine. The unusually early winter storm, the massive weather formation dumped up to 30cm (one foot) of snow in parts of the country that rarely see it this early in the year. But 2011 has been an unusual year for New York weather, as the city was also directly hit by Hurricane Irene just a few months ago. Over New York and other areas the storm was also accompanied by thunder and lightning, another fairly rare event known as "thunder snow". Across the entire north-east, local authorities had readied snow ploughs and spread salt and grit on the roads. 

Associated  Press: South Windsor, Connecticut, October 31, 2011: A freak October snowstorm knocked out power on Sunday to more than 3.2 million homes and businesses across the US Northeast, with close to two feet (60 centimeters) of snow falling in some areas over the weekend.

AUSTIN: The drought map created by University College London shows a number of worryingly dry areas around the globe, in places including East Africa, Canada, France and Britain. But the largest area of catastrophic drought centers on Texas. 

1.         The Newzealand rescue operation of oil slip tanker has been hampered by rough weather on Monday 18^th October 2011. The six Indian divers five crew and few others die in capsized ship due to stormy sea in Persian Gulf on Sunday, October 22^nd, 2011.   Possible ecological changes of the land mass of the coastal area in the KG Basin affecting the two districts West Godavari and East Godavari is taking shape at an alarming rate due to the oil and natural gas extraction of the KG basin. The subsurface strata of coastal sediments, sands, silt, clays of tertiary age(5 to 15million years) gets affected due to large scale exploitation reservoir rock for extraction of oil and natural gas, leaving imbalanced hydrological pressures and an on-rush of water in about 5 to 10 times the amount of extracted material. The full technology utility of this material is not known in India since the technical know-how is the propriety right of the developed nations. The research and industry coordination for huge buffer storage and the manufacturing processes firm-ware is not built as an infra-structure by the various agencies in India, due to the lack of scientific knowledge.

            The quick, fast and 100 % on line process is something a novelty for India and is presumably unintelligible in India. The attendant rare-earth materials, precious stones, and pebbles of rich minerals extraction has not been understood or analyzed. To feed the growing population the MOUs need to be examined carefully. Since, within next 20 years the weather pattern in coastal areas would drastically change due to this exploitation of oil resources in KG Basin. The permissions and licenses granted at a very quick pace just within a span of last two to three years seems to be an issue for debate and consultation at Higher S&T level.

2. Depression:

A distant cautionary signal No.1 has been hoisted at the Port office complex here signaling depression along the North of Bay of Bengal. Speaking to The Hindu, A.J.Maniksha, and Port Officer stated that the depression was centered near 20 degree North Latitude and 90.5 degree East Longitude at about 5.30 IST.  The depression was around 350 kilometers East-South-East of Digha in West Bengal and the system was likely to intensify and move towards North-Eastwards and cross Bangladesh coast between Chittagong and Cox Bazaar by Wednesday night or Thursday. On the October 18^th, 2011 Eastern central Bay of Bengal has developed a depression that might develop into a cyclone. But the Coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh the humidity fell down considerably so the temperatures increased by almost 4deg C.

3. Thiruvananthapuram, October 19^th, 2011:

A cyclone alert in the north-east Bay of Bengal was withdrawn apparently after proximity to land ruled out the intensification of a deep depression off the Myanmar and Bangladesh coast on Wednesday. The system spun furiously to become a depression, and further onward to a deep depression, putting it just another spin away from being named as a tropical cyclone cyclone categorization methods had already tagged it as a ‘numbered cyclone 02B,' which is the penultimate step ahead of named cyclone classification. The evening bulletin of IMD withdrew formation alert and merely said that the deep depression over north-east Bay moved north-eastwards and lay centered south of Cox's Bazaar (Bangladesh).The system is likely to move further north-eastwards and cross Bangladesh coast close to Cox's Bazaar by the evening or the night. Satellite cloud imagery in the afternoon showed convective (rain-bearing) clouds rising over parts of Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, north-east and central Bay of Bengal and south Andaman Sea. A weather warning valid for Thursday said that isolated heavy rainfall would occur over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. NE Monsoon delayed by several days. The two days of heavy rain in Bangladesh was a down pour.

On the 26^th October 2011 Wednesday in Kavali of Nellore district from 8h30m to the next day 8h30mAM there was a heavy rain and measured about 107.8mm. Also from Tuesday 25^th Oct 2011 to Wednesday 8h30m it rained 66.8mm. The thunderbolt killed one person in yapaallem panchayathi village Pamuguntapalem and another injured. For three days in the Nellore district it recorded about 10 cm rains. This is about 28% less than the average rainfall for this district. Tuesday 31.3mm, Wednesday 27.1mm and on Thursday 41.7mm. Somasila reservoir with a capacity of 78TMC has now about 61.36TMC and in flow is about 7000 Cusecs. From Friday morning to Saturday 29^th Oct.2011 morning it rained 13cms in Nellore, Vinjamur, Venkatagiri it rained 7cms, Udayagiri recorded 6cms, Atmakur, Gudur it rained 4cms and in Adhanki, Podili, Sitarampuram, Badwel, Srikalhasthi each region received 3 cms rain. The Tirupati up hills near the temple also had rains on Saturday full day with no relief for the pilgrims and also the hills are covered with thick, chilly fog.

4. Heavy rains in Central America:

Al Jazeera2011-10-22: At least 105 people have been killed in flooding and landslides provoked by 10 days of heavy rains in Central America. More than a million people have been affected in the region, prompting officials to ask for humanitarian aid and urge those unaffected to show solidarity. Much of the aid is expected to go to Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and to the hardest-hit country, El Salvador. Almost 152cm of rain have accumulated in the past 10 days. The cumulative record of Hurricane Mitch, which devastated the region in 1998, killing 11,000 people, was 86cm.

Hurricane Rina:

            The remnants of Hurricane Rina bore down on Cancun and other resorts on Mexico's popular Caribbean coast on Thursday, chasing away tourists and causing massive flight delays. Rina, which was downgraded to a tropical storm, October 27, 2011.

24^th October 2011:

                Heavy rain has caused flooding in various parts of Northern Ireland overnight with the areas worst hit being in parts of north and west Belfast, Ballyclare and also in Cushendall and Carnlough on the Antrim Coast Road. 
Other parts of the eastern side of NI were also hit, with reports of localized flooding in Banbridge, Lurgan and Moira. The rain-swollen River Lagan south of Belfast. According to the MET Office, Counties Down and Antrim were expected to be worst affected by the rain with some torrential downpours and localized flooding as a result with the PSNI and the Roads Service advising motorists to drive with caution.

Cancun, Mexico (CNN) 

            Rina weakened to a tropical storm as it neared some of Mexico's most popular beaches Thursday Oct 27^th, 2011. Forecasters warned that the storm could still bring heavy rains and destructive waves. Rina was packing 70 mph winds Thursday morning. The storm is expected to skim the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula Thursday night and into Friday 28^th Oct.2011.

Thailand

            Citing the effect of the floods on its hard-drive supply chain in Thailand, computer maker Acer Inc. plans to raise its laptop prices for mid-November. Thailand is the second-largest exporter of computer hard drives and global prices are rising  The flooding in Thailand will affect about one-third of the country's annual production of 120 million hard disk drives. Since tropical storms began hitting Thailand at the end of July. It says 8.2 million people in 60 of the country's 77 provinces have been affected by floods and mudslides, and 30 provinces are currently inundated. Water flowing down the central Chao Phraya river basin from the north is meeting peak tides surging in the Gulf of Thailand, 20 km (12 miles) south of Bangkok. The tides have pushed water in the river, which snakes its way through the city past gilded temples and wooden shanties, about 2.5 meters (8 feet) above sea level but dikes and sand-bag walls have largely held.

5. Myanmar: 2011-10-21:

            A flash flood in central Myanmar on Friday left dozens of people missing as homes along a river bank were swept away, government officials in the military-dominated country said. "About 60 people are missing so far because of the flood" in Pakokku Township, an official who did not want to be named told AFP. "Some houses and a monastery along the river bank were swept away and a bridge was destroyed as the water rose up," he said. There were no confirmed reports of deaths, a second official said. A monk in Pakokku said the water was believed to have risen to about three meters (10 feet) high.

            The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in cm are Amalapuram (East Godavari dist), Satyavedu (Chittoor dist) 5 each, Atmakur and Gudur (both Nellore dist), Kandukur (Prakasam dist), Srikalahasti (Chittoor dist) 4 each, Chittoor, Kavali, Nellore, Tirupathi AP, Venkatagiri Town and Vinjamur (both Nellore dist) 3 each, Kalingapatnam, Badvel, Kamalapuram and Porumamilla (all Cuddapah dist), Kavali(A) (Nellore Dist), Seetharamapuram (Nellore dist), Tirumalla(A) (Chittoor Dist) 2 each and Machilipatnam, Narsapur, Ongole, Avanigadda (Krishna dist), Koderu and Polavaram (both West Godavari dist), Lakkireddipalli and Rajampet (both Cuddapah dist), Lam(A) (Guntur Dist), Narasapur(A) (West Godavari Dist), Nellore(A) (Nellore DIst), Podili (Prakasam dist) one each.

Coal Reserves:

NTPC's 13-day coal reserves of 5.3 metric tonnes have depleted and supply from Coal India for power plants is down to just 20 per cent.  There has been some shortfall because of heavy rainfall in mining areas.          

7. Orionids:

            Five annual meteor showers occur over the last three months of the year, starting with the Orionids in October 2011. Orionids can appear anytime between October 16 and 26, but the peak of activity should occur around October 21, 2011. The Orionids are named after the constellation Orion, from which they appear to emanate. These burning bits of debris were left behind by Halley's Comet and one may expect about 25 meteors an hour during peak activity.

Sun set:

Dark shadows (also known as "crepuscular rays") lance across the sky as the sun sets behind distant clouds. On October 15^th, 2011 in the Netherlands, Jacob Kuiper could see the shadows, but he couldn't see the clouds that cast them, they were too far away. All sunsets are beautiful, but the past two on 27^th and 28^th, have surpassed themselves. On Oct. 27th and 28th, Venus, Mercury and the crescent Moon gathered in the glow of the setting sun for a lovely conjunction. Jupiter is at opposition, opposite the sun as seen from Earth. This means the giant planet will be up all night, rising in the east at sunset and soaring overhead at midnight. Jupiter at opposition shines ~36 times brighter than a 1st magnitude star.

8. South Texas earthquake

A rare and record-breaking South Texas earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.6 struck near rural Karnes County on Thursday morning, rattling homes and causing faint tremors in downtown San Antonio.No injuries or major damage was reported, and the light quake wasn't even noticed by some residents living close to the epicenter, near Karnes City. Yet small vibrations felt in San Antonio did cause occupants to briefly evacuate a downtown federal building as a precaution. The quake struck at 7:24 a.m. The U.S. Geological Survey said it was the largest earthquake on record for the area, surpassing a magnitude-4.3 shock recorded in 1993.Thursday's earthquake occurred in a zone that has shaken in the past. From 1990 to 2006, at least a dozen small quakes rattled this region.

Van Earth Quake in Turkey:

Sunday's major quake hit at 1:41 p.m. local time and was followed by at least seven aftershocks, American and Turkish monitoring agencies reported. It took place about 12 miles from Van, the USGS said. An official Turkish monitoring office reported aftershocks ranging in magnitude from 2.6 to 5.8, all within an hour of the first quake. More than 20 aftershocks shook the area. 200 aftershocks shook the area throughout the night. The USGS reported a depth of 4.5 miles, or 7.2 kilometers; the center in Turkey said the quake was about 3 miles, or 5 kilometers, deep (earthquake struck at 10.41 GMT and was five kilometers (three miles) deep). The quake's epicenter was at the village of Tabanli, 20 km north of Van city, Kandilli said.  In Hakkari, about 100 km (60 miles) south of Van, a Reuters correspondent said the building he was in swayed for about 10 seconds during the quake.  One concern is displacement of water along Lake Van, which could send water gushing into nearby areas, particularly along the west side, Wolf reported. From Ankara it is located 1200kms away.

Earthquake in Nalgonda district: Posted On: Thu, Oct 20 2011 Near Nagarjuna Sagar area was felt by residents in Guntur and local TV projected it as just a rumor.  Seismologist Walter D Mooney of USGS warned that in about 20 to 50 years time there would be a mega Earth Temblor (followed by tsunami) like the ones that occurred in 1897, 1906 and a few other times especially in North India.

9. Tall volcano

That 2,744-meter-tall volcano last erupted in 1903 but has displayed signs of awakening in recent years. The lake is the source of three Asian rivers that, during an eruption, could serve as conduits for lahars, devastating blends of hot ash, mud and water that have the consistency of wet cement. A major eruption could send such flows racing down the volcano’s slopes, threatening hundreds of thousands of people.

Mount Etna: 24 October 2011 last updated at 14:04 GMT;

Europe's most active volcano, Mount Etna, has begun to spew large plumes of bright orange lava. Eruptions as high as 100 meters (300 feet) were visible near Sicily and nearby Catania airport was shut for a short time due to the smoke and ash.

Hudson volcano:

 Plumes of smoke and ash rise from the Hudson volcano in the region of Aysen, Chile, Thursday Oct. 27, 2011. The Southern Andean Volcano Observatory says seismic activity related to the volcano increased starting early Tuesday night. The Hudson volcano lies 995 miles (1,600 kilometers) south of Chile's capital, Santiago. It last erupted in August 1991, causing millions in damages to local farms and killing an estimated 1.5 million sheep. Chile has about 3,000 volcanoes, 500 of which are considered geologically active Melting snow and ice caused the Aysen River to overflow its banks. The steam and ash was coming from three craters, ranging from 650 feet (200 meters) to 1,600 feet (500 meters) wide, and with earthquakes shaking the mountain, a major eruption could occur within hours or days, Chile's national geology service said. Already, a plume of ash and steam spread 7.5 miles to the southeast, toward Argentina. It was winds gusting up to 75 mph (120 kmh) that kicked up tons of ash accumulated across Patagonia. Now with snow melting in the Argentine spring, there's nothing to hold down tons of ash. A huge cloud enveloped Buenos Aires and Montevideo in gritty gray dust on Sunday, shutting down major airports. A change in the winds cleared the skies by Monday.

Updated 04:04 a.m., Friday, October 28, 2011:Flash floods and mudslides triggered by heavy rains earlier this week barreled through picturesque towns along the northwest coast, burying streets under mud, damaging homes, stores, churches and overturning vehicles. At least nine people died. Among hard-hit towns are Monterosso and Vernazza.

10. Red Dust Roaring: 10/22/2011 5:01:38 PM ET 2011-10-22T21:01:38LUBBOCK, Texas :

The towering wall of billowing red dust roaring across the blue West Texas sky took Monroe Debusk back more than eight decades to the Dust Bowl years when he was growing up on his family's cotton farm. The 90-year-old farmer looked out his window Monday and saw the sky darken as a rare 1.5-mile-tall; 250-mile-long dust cloud stretched across the rain-starved land and blotted out the sun. Meteorologists say people living on Texas' parched plains could see more dust storms as a record drought tightens its grip across the Southwest. At least six sandstorms hit Phoenix this summer, with the most powerful striking on July 5 and measuring a mile high. Dust storms form when wind whips up loose soil. The wind picked up with a drop in pressure along the edge of a fast-moving cold front, a pattern that typically happens in the fall and winter, meteorologists said. When the cloud hit Lubbock, winds speeds reached 74 mph in some places and visibility was far less than a quarter of a mile.

11. Glaciers

Around 5.3 per cent or 70 sq.km. of the glaciers in the Yangtze river's headwaters had melted in the past three decades.

12. Baptla Gali Gopuram (Pagoda):

The negligence to prevent damage leading to the collapse of the Gali Gopuram of Bhava Narayan temple in Baptla. It is a historical monument of 15^th century about 60feet high and with storey structure. Due to the diversion of NH5 road near to the temple it developed cracks following the heavy loaded truck movement, and in spite of a ban (in the year 1992) on mining over a radius of 200 meters around it and a sanction of rupees of one Crore to Archaeological department in the year 2009, the collapse couldn’t prevented and is being quoted by public there as gross negligence of the concerned authority. It collapsed at 12h12mPM on Sunday 22^nd October 2011. The closure of the main gate prevented its collapse.

GUNTUR: the place was visited by Saint Gurunanak during the years 1450s and he travelled via Rajmundry, Simhachalam, Puri, Bengal and then to Assam. The place then was known as a Guntada meaning that it is a place of big lake with considerable depth. On the 23^rd October 2011 a thunderbolt struck in Rajupalem mandal and killed a cattle herdsman looking after buffaloes in the field itself on Sunday. Similarly due to the thunder lightning bolt one person died on the spot at Bollaapalli mandal Gandioganumula village area.

13. CME Oct. 24^th 2011

A coronal mass ejection (CME) hit Earth on Oct. 24th at approximately 1800 UT (2:00 pm EDT). The impact strongly compressed Earth's magnetic field, directly exposing geosynchronous satellites to solar wind plasma, and sparked an intense geomagnetic storm. As night fell over North America, auroras spilled across the Canadian border into the contiguous United States. These rare auroras sometimes appear during intense geomagnetic storms. They occur some 300 to 500 km above Earth's surface and are not yet fully understood. The storm is subsiding now. Nevertheless, high-latitude sky watchers should remain alert for auroras as Earth's magnetic field continues to reverberate from the CME impact. Chennai, Oct 25 (PTI) Heavy rains lashed many parts of Tamil Nadu as a trough of low pressure extending from Gulf of Mannar to Andhra Pradesh today brought copious rains to various districts in the state.
Chennai received 52.5 mm rain. The weather office forecast more rains on Wednesday and Thursday. A solar wind stream flowing from the indicated coronal hole could brush past Earth on Oct. 30-31. Credit: SDO/AIA.

14. The tumbling German satellite Rosat re-entered the Earth's atmosphere over the Bay of Bengal, the German space agency (DLR) has confirmed. This means any satellite components that survived the fiery plunge would have splashed into the ocean, avoiding populated areas.  Officials said Rosat re-entered the atmosphere at 0150 GMT on Sunday.  Experts had calculated that up to 1.6 tonnes of wreckage could have ridden out the destructive forces of re-entry. This amounts to roughly half the spacecraft's initial mass.

RESULTS OF OBSERVATION

Weather and Ecology:

The chilly weather has been experienced in Visakhapatnam also but with no rain at all.            The coastal line of about 910kms affecting the lives of 30lakh fisherman does uproots cheap food source for many an inland people and working class population in India.The industrial pollution, SEZ’s, petro-chemical corridors oil and gas exploration is affecting the ancient village and age-old port trade. Astronomy:

The Moon orientation and its movement towards the Hunter and beyond to the horizon has been followed by image capture during this fortnight. The sun set in the dusty atmosphere was one of rare spectacle on the 17^th Oct 2011. The same night the Moon also was found to by shinning through the dusty atmosphere. The Hunter constellation gave a good view of observation on the 18^th morning around 2h41mAM.At 2h49mAM the author is able image capture the Belt stars of the Hunter Constellation. The three stars are Alnitak(Agni Shaft), Alnilam( Soma the Arrow head) and  Mintaka( Vishnu arrow point). The bracketed descriptions are those of ancient Hindu Astrophysicists. The Moon was located in the Hunters Head region around 02h50mAM on the 18^th October 2011. The 19^th October at 00h18mAM the Jupiter gave a beautiful spectrum. The Moon was found shifted far away from the Hunter’s Head around 02h55mAM.

A prize-worthy image is the triangular positions of the Moon Hunters Head and the Jupiter recorded at 03h05mAM on the 19^th October 2011.The Moon’s orientation was very attractive at 02h57mAM on the 19^th Oct 2011.

Is it the German Space Probe fell in the Bay of Bengal?

The img_6614kln captured at 17h25mPM on the 19^th October 2011 couldn’t have been a meteor fall since its brilliance showed lot of ignition heat and smoke traversing across the sky. The present author is fortuitous to image capture it and probably only record of that kind made by any one at that time. They report “The tumbling German satellite Rosat re-entered the Earth's atmosphere over the Bay of Bengal, the German space agency (DLR) has confirmed. This means any satellite components that survived the fiery plunge would have splashed into the ocean, avoiding populated areas.  Officials said Rosat re-entered the atmosphere at 0150 GMT on Sunday.  Experts had calculated that up to 1.6 tonnes of wreckage could have ridden out the destructive forces of re-entry. This amounts to roughly half the spacecraft's initial mass.” But my observation was on 19^th October 2011 that means the either a plasma ball of unusual mass or another junk piece of the broken tumbling German satellite Rosat, that followed the main mass of about 1.6tons wreckage. The figure 6 in the upper middle slot shows the fiery piece of mass object falling traversing across the sky. My observation was that it burnt and then gave two jets like smoke tracks later burnt with a final death in the atmosphere itself. Note that the smoke has not separated out in to two branches in the final stage of total burning into ashes.

On 22^nd Oct 2011 at 5h41mAM the imag_5870kln given in the Figure 7, shows the Moon and the several of the North West stars. In the same day evening the clouds exhibited a peculiar crunched structure at 5h20mPM. On 23^rd Oct 2011 night rapidly moving clouds have been observed which are of big size. The triangular stars have been captured in the images given in Fig.8. The sun was brilliant red on the 27^th October 2011 at 06h36mAM. The evening the Sun showed brilliant aurora of the atmosphere dusty and cloudy atmosphere, produced possibly by the CME. The scenario changed on the 28^th October 2011 in the Morning very thick, dense overlapped clouds have been noticed. Striated clouds continued throughout the second fortnight of October 2011 were observed; when world-wide there were lots of storms, heavy flash flood rains, Volcano eruptions, Hurricane and tropical storms.

On 22^nd Oct.2011 at 10h51mAm the Gravity waves generated by a possible distant earth trembler has been image captured. This is given in the Fig.7 in the bottom middle slot. Note the double layered structure of the clouds. The clouds possible at the height of 1 to 2kms have been striated due to gravity waves.

This figure shows that the Moon glow has changed within 8 minutes to one of bright Red glow. The Sun solar wind streams do affect the moon surface and a regular study of it would be very interesting and may be taken up as project by armature astronomers. The Bright Alnilam ( Soma the Arrow head) with its Pulsating beacon light can be noticed even with a naked eye if the clear permits. In spite of the dusty atmosphere on the 17^th Oct.2011at 3h28mAM the Belt stars could be image captured.

Fig 2 Second Fortnight of October 2011 Astronomy and weather scenario Visakhapatnam:   The dusty atmosphere of the sky could be easily seen with naked eye on the evening of 17^th Oct.2011 at 17h01mPM with the Sun glow exhibiting glorious bands of ring colors of the diffraction pattern. The similar picture of the Moon has been captured at 02h41mAM on 18^th Oct.2011 morning. A comparative study of the intensity profiles indicates the predominance of the Green and the Red colors but during the night time i.e. also the wee hours of 18^th Oct 2011 at 02h41mAM the green color is dominant and the dust was transparent to the Red hue. This is a surprising finding and suggests the possible characteristics of the dusty atmosphere.

In spite of the dusty atmosphere of a peculiar nature the Moon and the Hunter in its full view of its bright stars including the Head could be image captured as shown in the fig.3. The streak off light in this img_5556kln is the splendid Orinoid beautifully captured.

            Another pair of Orionids arising from the Nebulae regions of the Hunter is very fascinating presented by the img_5560kln given in the Fig.3 and this constitute the first time report and record of such an event of the Astrophysics observations of the sky. I am fortunate to obtain it recorded. The path indicates where the Orionids have suffered glow-fire interactions of the interplanetary atmosphere. The origin of these two oppositely moving Orionids from the Nebulae region (img_5560kln) below the Belt stars of the Hunter is conjectured by me as due to oppositely jet emitted plasma balls of Rao and Anti Rao quanta structures. Since there is little scope of gravity and anti-gravity events in the noxious Nebulae region the only possibility is for the molecular massive cluster formations. They have ejected these Rao and Anti Rao Plasma Fire balls that rolled from the Nebulae region in a process of quantum tunneling.

The 19^th Oct 2011 The Moon has moved away from the Head of the Hunter and the slightly off the third star of the Belt of Hunter shows somewhat bright relative to the  other two belt stars. This means it has a very slow rate of rotation of the beacon light emission of possible Pulsar in it. The spectrum of Jupiter could be nicely recorded and wave overlaps in it need to be examined for possible influence of the Jupiter Moons.

The triangular position of the Moon relative to the Head of the Hunter and the Jupiter is very fascinating event of the Astronomy sky of Visakhapatnam and could be captured in a single frame at 03h05mAM of 19^th Oct.2011.Both the Dog star and the Rohini tauri or Aldeberran have been image captured.

The weather scenario has changed considerably on the 22^nd Oct.2011 and the striated pattern of the upper layers of clouds at Visakhapatnam around 10h51mAM was just the evidence of Gravity waves generated by the Earth trembler elsewhere. The convective clouds are situated slightly below the upper layer of the clouds. Even in the almost early morning at 5h17mAM of 22^nd Oct.2011 the Moon and the Hunter constellation stars were visible in spite of the past moving clouds and a deep blue sky with a hue of the Ultra Violet. At 4h14mAM the NW sky was sufficiently dark due to the Ultra Violet hue of the morning sky but the stars could be easily image captured in img_5870kln given in Fig.7.

On 23^rd October big convective clouds of the Bay of Bengal have dominated the sky but the famous triangle of stars could be image captured at 7h28m PM.

An amazing image of the cloud studded sky of the Visakhapatnam in the morning of at 08h26mAM on 28^th Oct.2011 is possibly a mixture of the globe circulating volcano ashes from even far away eruptions. The Sun through such clouds is very bright and the spectrum obtained shows the complexity of the cloud structure.

The CME of Oct.24^th led to Northern lights reported in SpaceWeather.com by Ole C Salomonsen with a nice picture of the 26^th Oct.2011 in the back drop of the Milky Way Galaxy of stars. The Northern intensity profile given here markedly shows the Green predominant extent. Why is that the Milky Way is grossly deep Blue? The cloud picture profile of the 28^th October 2011 shows the same deep Blue hue.

The 30^th Oct 2011 at 20h51mPM and again at 21h19mPM has exhibited the Bright Jupiter Planet. The spectra of which could be obtained. The spectrum obtained at 23h35mPM on 30^th Oct.2011 is given in fig.10. The Moon forms triangle with the two bright west sky of the Visakhapatnam at 18h03mPM and 18h04mPM on 30^th Oct.2011. The 30^th Oct 2011 is the day of Serpent God worship*** in Andhra Paradesh known as Nagula Chavithi. In India is observed almost three times of the year according to the Indian almanac, on the days of Kartika suddha chavithi, margasira shshti (subrahmanya shasti) and the Sravana shukla panchami.

FINDINGS:

            The 17^th October 2011 evening and the 18^th October 2011 morning the Sun set and as well the Moon images captured have shown that the terrestrial atmosphere is full of dust and may be aerosols filled. Over the weekend, Earth passed through a minor solar wind stream that sparked Northern Lights around parts of the Arctic Circle. This is a consequence of either the Indonesia Earth Tremors or due to Solar flares and/ or due to Orionids (meteors) is not quite clear. The height of the dust obviously extends beyond 900kms height. But on the morning of 19^th October 2011 the sky was clear and the Hunter, Jupiter and Moon were distinctly visible with no dust scattering. This is in spite of the fact the dusty atmosphere prevailed till the evening of 18^th October 2011.

            The 19^th October 2011 throughout India a bit unusual that the maximum temperature was only about 32 deg C except at Rana of Kutch where the maximum temperature recorded was 37deg C.

            Img_5543kln gives the Orion Belt Stars; Agni (Alnitak, Shaft), Soma (Alnilam, Arrow Head) and Vishnu (Mintaka, Arrow Point) and these Orion’s the row of three stars is considered as his belt. I conjecture that the deviation of the arrow point (Mintaka, Vishnu), from the belt straight line of the three stars, gives the Cosmological Bent of Universal Curvature over the billions of years passage of Cosmological Time. Extended towards the Rohini (Aldebarren) and the Dog Star (Sirius) on either side this straight line seems to be a great attraction to many civilizations like Egypt etc.

            Suddenly on the 26^th night and the morning of 27^th October 2011 the weather in Visakhapatnam has changed to a very pleasant chilly slight wind. This cannot be the consequence of the drizzle for about a 12 hour period in Visakhapatnam on the 25^th October 2011.  The cloud formations seem to be a bit unusual. It is a common observation in India that the Deepavali** New Moon Day would have a rain continuous but not as a down pour. This would help the ground to absorb cumulatively the rainwater to its depths and the underground water reservoirs. The Indian have identified Deepavali as the Darkest Night of the year and so the fire-works glitter with brilliance of their own along with COSMIC shine and in the absence of the Moon shine. The Astrophysics significance of the Day is obviously recognition of the Dark sky or the Dark matter of the Universe?

The 30^th Oct 2011 is the day of Serpent God worship in Andhra Pradesh known as Nagula Chavithi. See the Note marked below as ***.
