Odia socio-cultural organization is to provide food and medical help for the people of state stuck in various parts of AP state. They were also supplying masks. 
April 2, 2020: Iran floods leave 21 dead. Flooding caused by heavy rainfall on Wednesday and about 22 people were injured, most of the casualties are from southern and central provinces  and about 11 people died in Fars province alone.

Apr. 7, 2020 midnight: Araku loya on Monday at midnight, gale winds and heavy rain occurred. Due to gales the electric wires broke and only at 10 AM the electricity could be restored.

Apr. 7, 2020; Lower temperatures would prevail in Rayalaseema inthe next one week, with rainfall and lightning an thunders. It was cloudy in both Kurnool and Anathaur districts, with temperature touching 41C.  Lightning strikes at six places-Uyyalawada, Chagalamarri, Kothapalle, Kowthalam and Adoni. For three days temperature would be around 38C to 39C and later they would goup.

We have woven just two saris in the lat nine days, which fetches us only Rs.1200\- lockdown effect will be for six months, Silk cocoon market closed, chemical from Adoni stopped, Marriages have been postponed, They get Rs.3000 to Rs.4000\- per sari, a couple takes a  six to seven days to weave. First season of Hindu marriages ended March 17, next phase will last till end of May and then there would b a gap of two months. 400 houses with handlooms, but only a dozen are functional.

April 8, 2020: It is a very cloudy day, presumably it may rain. It rained in the evening around 630 PM. 
April  8,   2020: Fiji battered by tropical cyclone. Category five tropical cyclone Harold battered the South Pacific island of Fiji on Wednesday (April 8). Destroying buildings and causing injuries in the country's capital, Suva. the cyclone, which killed dozens of people in the Solomon Islands before destroying buildings in Vanuatu is expected to make its way to Tonga within days.

In Anantapur paddy  in 86 hectares and maize crops in 44 hectares were hit by Winds in Beluguppa, (Mango in 12 hectares) D. Puthalapattu mandal one food processing factory hadd lightning bolt that resulted in loss of 10/- lakh of rupees. Gottibrolu village one died due to the sound of the lightning fall. Ganga palem one fisherman died due to the lightning bolt. One cow also died due to thunder in Chittoor zillah. Kruthivennu six fishermen died while venturing into the sea due to hailstorm. In Chagalamarri the banana crop destroyed due to the cyclonic rain. Coconut trees, Mango trees and Limbu crop got damaged with loss of the fruit. Several thousand acres of rice crop got damaged.
