However, there were no immediate reports of any causality or damage, according to state officials. The tremors were felt around 3.16 pm.recorded at Morshi center. The tremors lasted for around 70 seconds and shook 14 villages of Hinganghat, Deoli and Wardha tehsils." The fickle weather was due to the rise in temperature and moist air in the Bay of Bengal brought the sudden downpour and with thunders and lightning in Visakhapatnam and neighboring villages. Thunderbolt killed a person in Meghadri and his cow at Pendurthi while grazing. Tirupati also experienced moderate rainfall on Saturday clogging many areas.Trees fell on the road and spotted deer were found roaming freely. Gajuvaka, Bheemili, Visakha East, Visakha west Payakaraopeta, Elemanchilli, Anakapalli(an old lady Padamatamma died while plucking tomatoes  and another lady Jayalakshmin died when her house struck by lightning), Narsipatnam and Chodavaram(one buffalo died)and Maddilapalem had the brunt of the blowing winds and the lightning and thunder-fall rain.

From Saturday to four days in coastal districts and Rayalaseema would experience thunderbolts showers and hailstorms. On Friday Peddasomala, Ropala, Kotha cheruvu, and Pulivendula 4 cm rain fall was recorded.  Other regions experienced hot weather.

They also found that the properties of the universe in this sense are not isotropic and there’s a preferred direction. And lo and behold, their direction coincides with ours.”

I did a review of 132 reservoirs under the Central government, which are out of the 5,000 total reservoirs but which provide two thirds of the total supply of water across the country.

Apr 29, 2020: 8:08 AM: Himachal Pradesh: Earthquake hits Chamba district. An earthquake measuring four on the Richter scale shook Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district yesterday. Shimla Meteorological Center said the earthquake was recorded at 12:17 PM. The epicentre of the earthquake was at the depth of 19 km in the northeast of Chamba. The mild tremors were also felt in adjoining areas including Kangra district.

A rare phenomenon called rain of fire has been captured by a man while looking at the sun’s atmosphere using a solar telescope in his backyard. Coronal rain is a phenomenon that takes place in the sun's corona when the hot plasma in the corona cools down and condenses into strong magnetic fields, which have been connected with regions that create solar flares. The plasma gets attracted towards the magnetic fields before condensing and gradually falling back to the solar surface. According to NASA, the magnetic fields are not visible; however, the plasma which has been charged is forced to move along the lines and appears bright in the extreme ultraviolet wavelength of 304 Angstroms while outlining the fields as it gradually moves back to the solar surface.

Apr. 30, 2020: Bringing food, dignity to a Bengal village. Each night of the past two weeks of the lockdown, 36-year-old Shyamal Maji has been making frequent trips to the villages and outskirts of Santiniketan and Bolpur town in Bengal's Birbhum district.
