Apr. 29, 2022: Both theories explain various dimensions, but they differ by one in the number of dimensions they describe. So, for example, gravity exists in three dimensions inside the geometry of a black hole, but particle physics lives in two dimensions on its surface—a flat disk. Consider the black hole, which, due to its massive mass, warps space-time. The black hole’s gravity, which exists in three dimensions, mathematically connects to the particles dancing above it, which exist in two dimensions. As a result, a black hole exists in three-dimensional space but is perceived as a projection of particles. Some scientists claim our entire universe is a holographic representation of particles, and this could lead to a consistent quantum explanation of gravity.

It is believed that the temple was established by the Pandavas.  It has been observed that despite the fact that the temple has no roof, no snow is spotted on temple premises during winters when the entire region around this temple is covered in snow up to several feet. The local legend says that the history of the Shikari Mata temple dates back to Dwapar Yuga when the great battle of Mahabharata was fought between the Pandavas and the Kauravas.

Fig.15  The instruments of Astronomy observatory in
Visakhapatnam during late 1841.
Eminent Vizag citizen and astronomer, G.V. Juggarow, was one of the early pioneers of observational astronomy in India who built his own observatory in 1841 at Vizagapatnam. His legacy was continued by his son-in-law A.V.Nursing Row till 1892, his daughter till 1894, Madras Government till 1898, and his grandson A.V. Jugga Row till it became inactive in the early 1900s. Observations of comets, planetary transits, stellar occultation etc., had been continued along with meteorological observations. Celestial photography was started at the observatory. After 1898, the observatory’s activities were re-oriented towards meteorology.Observatory reports and official documents record that the observatory was situated in Daba Gardens. Anecdotally, it was where the Dolphin Hotel now stands. Gode Venkata Juggarow (variously written as Jugga Row, Jagga Row, or Jagga Rao etc.) came from a family of rich and well educated Zamindars. His first published record was the calculations of lunar occultation in 1835 and the transit of Halley’s Comet observed from the Madras Observatory in 1836 where he undertook his early training in astronomy. Jagga Rao furnished his Vizag observatory with a Troughton’s Transit Circle and a Chronometer. He also procured optics for a 4.8-inch aperture and 5 feet 8 inches (focus) long telescope from W.S. Jones of London with eyepieces of 40, 60, 80, 120, 200, and 300 power. But he could not get the optics properly mounted into the telescope before his death in 1856. He apparently had great plans for the observatory. The full telescope was later assembled and used by Nursing Row, who took over the observatory after Juggarow’s death. In 1870, he rebuilt the observatory on the site of the old one and had an observatory dome built in England and shipped to Vizag. The 12-foot diameter dome, equipped with an equatorial instrument, was mounted but not tied down when the cyclone in 1876 dislodged it. It was later mounted back on the observatory and secured. Nursing Row donated a sum of Rs 1,15,000 as an endowment to the then Hindu College when it was in financial difficulties. The college was later named after his wife as Mrs A.V.N. College. Nursing Row died on18 June 1892.The Trigonometric Survey also identified the flagstaff of the Jagga Row Observatory at Vizagapatam Gardens as 17° 42′ 42.9″ North and 83° 20′ 24.0″ East. After applying the correction factors, Google Earth pinpoints that the observatory flagstaff was located in the car park of the Dolphin Hotel.

May. 7, 2022:
This is the latest round of controversy in a decades-old dispute over faith and legal jurisdiction of devotees – similar to the one in Ayodhya – where some Hindu groups believe a temple was partially razed to build the 17th-century Gyanvapi mosque. It first reached the courts in 1991, when local Hindu priests sought permission to worship in the mosque area. The hearing was later suspended by the Allahabad high court. But the case gained steam in December 2019 when a local Hindu man filed an application in the civil court as the “next friend” of the presiding deity of the temple, Swayambhu Jyotirling Bhagwan Vishweshwar. In law, a next friend is a representative of someone incapable of maintaining a suit directly. Last year, a Varanasi civil court ordered an archaeological survey of the Gyanvapi complex, saying the exercise was required to decide on pleas that allege the mosque was built by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb after partially demolishing a Hindu shrine. This order was challenged before Allahabad HC which suspended all proceedings and is likely to hear the case on a regular basis.

May. 7, 2022: Distinct Changes In Astronauts' Brains Found Months After Their Return To Earth. Monit Khanna - Yesterday 6:02 pm. "We all adapted to use gravity in our favor. Nature didn't put our brains in our feet – it put them high up. Once you remove gravity from the equation, what does that do to human physiology?" Talking about expanded perivascular spaces, researchers don't fully understand if the changes come with any major health risks. To the unaware, these spaces act as a neurological drainage system when we sleep. Research in the past has also shown that the fluids around our grey matter have an important role to play in removing waste products that collate during more active hours. With these channels not functioning appropriately, it can lead to the accumulation of disruptive materials and cause neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s.

The mighty cascading stream of water was among the few rivers that were ever worshipped by the followers of Hinduism. A 2002 report of DownToEarth has quotes from scientists that believed that the river existed during the Harappan civilization. In fact, many crucial parts of the civilisation were built on the banks of the Sarasvati River.

May. 12, 2022: A tiny graphene device could detect neutrinos from the big bang. Neutrinos from the early universe have never been detected directly but a device that uses the atom-thick material graphene might be able to change.  A particle detector made from extremely thin sheets of carbon may be able to spot never-before-seen neutrinos from the time of the big bang. If the design works, detecting these so-called ultra-low energy neutrinos could help us to better understand the first moments of the universe. Detecting any neutrinos is challenging because they normally move through matter without affecting it – trillions of them are passing through you right now. They are some of the most abundant particles.

May 12: 2022:  Jaipur, A day after Jaipur princess and BJP MP Diya Kumari’s claim that the land on which Taj Mahal was built belonged to the erstwhile royal family of Jaipur triggered a debate, a new fact has emerged that marbles were sent from Makrana and Amer in Rajasthan for building the iconic Taj Mahal. The archives in Bikaner have clear evidence of these facts. In fact, during the construction of the Taj Mahal in Agra, there was a white marble quarry in Jaipur’s Amer which has been written as Amber in the order. The stone from the Amer mine was also used in the construction of Taj Mahal. Apart from Amer, white marble also reached Agra from the mines of Makrana and Rajnagar. This information was obtained from an order written by Shah Jahan to Raja Jai Singh of Jaipur, which has been maintained in the Rajasthan State Archives in Bikaner. On September 9, 1632, in an order by Shah Jahan to Jai Singh, it was said to send Mulukshah to extract marble from the new mine at Amber (Amer). It was also said in the decree that all the labourers and vehicles they ask for, should be made available. “The expenses incurred in this will be sent to you by the Badshah Treasury Officer,” said the order by Shah Jahan instructing him not to disobey the decree. The second decree makes it clear that Raja Jai Singh paid for the carts which were used to transport the marble to Agra. He later received this payment from the Treasury Office of Shah Jahan. On January 21, 1632, in a decree given by Shah Jahan to Raja Jai Singh, it was said that carts are needed from other places including Amber to transport the marble to Agra. “Because of this, less number of stone-cutters are reaching Makrana. Therefore, there is very little work being done there, so we order that you (who are the best among your people) instruct your people not to stop stone-cutters in Amer and Rajnagar at all. All the Sangrahs (stone-cutters) who reach there, should be sent to the officials of Makrana. Do not disobey the orders in any case, understand your responsibility.” About the compensation process, there are no documents in the archive, but many historians agree with Diya Kumari’s claim. Historian Anand Sharma and RS Khangarot claimed that Shah Jahan gave 4 government-owned havelis in Agra to the Amer king in exchange for the land of the Taj Mahal.
