Astronomy Study of Visakhapatnam Sky 17th to 21st Oct 2010

ABSTRACT:
The Moon and Jupiter proximity has occupied the central Interest in the Astronomy study of the sky at Visakhapatnam.An attempt has been made to gather the information of thenear stars of the Moon at various times so it provides the ready data for the Moon relative to the stars of the different constellations. Weather and the spectral properties of the Moon and the Sun have also been investigated.

Introduction:

From 18th October to 21st October there were no reports of extensive rains in Visakhapatnam area. But from Friday 22nd to Saturday 23rd, October 2010 there were heavy rains in Jerlam, Ranasthala, Palasa about 3cms, Cheepurpalli, Salur, Sompeta, Parlakimidi, about 4cms, Araku, Parvathipuram, Bobbli, Icchapuram, kalingapatnam, Pakala about 4cms and on Sunday it rained in Visakhapatnam and Telangana regions. The low-depression moved to Orissa state and has hit Puri other places.

The idea that El Nino has shifted to new El Nino Modiki is debatable since the later results only in Long-term changes in North Pacific Ocean currents briefs The Hindu Thursday 21st Oct 2010.

The Moon and Jupiter on 21st gave a good display in the sky and near the beach the Moon raise was enchanting. The pass by clouds has not prevented much the capture of the sky digital images.
