INCOIS detected an earthquake in the Pacific Ocean at 3:30 PM on Sept. 28, 2018. For three hours the monitored ocean buoys, and sea level tide gauges did not detect any unusual activity. What surprised the author is that the Ocean has moved backward for nearly four days and only to-day i.e. on 2 Oct. 2018, I could notice the ocean moved forward at Visakhapatnam beach at Maharanipeta.   The Palu tsunami has been very peculiar, only a small narrow bay was hit. 3 Oct. 2018: (Report December 7, 2017): Strange Magnetic Forces Around Lonar Lake – What’s Behind The Electromagnetic Anomaly? There is something very strange about Lonar Lake. The lake 400-foot wide perfectly round lake doesn’t fit local geology and scientists have discovered that strange magnetic forces are interfering with electrical equipment and sending compasses haywire. What is causing the electromagnetic anomaly? The lake’s water is not normal and the lake itself appears to be completely misplaced. Lonar Lake is approximately 150 meters (500 feet) deep, with an average diameter of almost 1,830 meters (6,000 feet).

Fig.3 The perfectly circular lake could be a
meteor impact crater

 that shows higher magnetic readings.

The perfectly circular lake shows evidence of higher magnetic readings than the surrounding area. Geologists suggested that the lake could, in fact, be a meteor impact crater. Objects that come from space are generally more electromagnetic than the material that they strike on terrestrial Earth. While examining the lake and water, local geologists found minerals and rock fragments that are formed when high-pressure, high-temperature metamorphism occurs. Scientists discovered unusual minerals like maskelynite, a kind of naturally occurring glass that is only formed by extremely high-velocity impacts. So, there is enough scientific evidence to state that Lonar Lake was formed when a 2 million tons meteorite moving with a speed of 90,000 km/hr struck the Earth.  When the impact occurred is uncertain, but scientists estimate it could have been between 35,000 and 50,000 years ago. It is the Earth’s largest and only hyper-velocity impact crater in basaltic rock and this beautiful Lake Lonar can be described as a little known astronomical marvel on Earth.

October 11, 2018: If an object falls into a black hole, it should increase the temperature and therefore change its entropy as well. If that holds true, it means the information of something thrown into a black hole isn’t completely lost. Instead, it can be found in changes measured in the halo or soft hair around it. The new paper suggests that objects thrown into a black hole may change its temperature – and its ‘entropy’, a measurement of its internal disorder. This ‘entropy’ may be recorded by light particles at the event horizon – described as ‘soft hair’. Perry said, ‘What this paper does is show that ‘soft hair’ can account for the entropy. It’s telling you that soft hair really is doing the right stuff.’
October 11, 2018: Researchers in Australia have identified a treasure trove of mysterious fast radio bursts in deep space. Despite still having no idea what they are, Australian researchers using the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) telescope in Western Australia have discovered a record haul of fast radio bursts (FRBs). The mysterious bursts are believed to involve incredible amounts of energy – the equivalent of what the sun puts out in an 80-year period. In this discovery, the team has nearly doubled the known number of FRBs. Among the haul, the team reported in Nature were the closest and brightest FRBs ever detected. The discovery of 20 in this latest survey was bolstered by the use of new technology found in the Australia Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP), which also confirmed that FRBs are coming from the other side of the universe, rather than within our own galactic neighbourhood.
12 October 2018: PORT ST. JOE, Fla. (Reuters) - Rescuers searched for survivors in the rubble of ravaged beach communities on Thursday after Michael, one of the most powerful hurricanes in U.S. history, slammed into the Florida Panhandle, causing widespread flooding and killing at least seven people. Michael struck Florida's northwest coast near the small town of Mexico Beach on Wednesday afternoon with top sustained winds of 155 miles per hour (250 kph), pushing a wall of seawater inland. The storm tore entire neighborhoods apart, reducing homes and businesses to piles of wood and siding, damaging roads and leaving scenes of devastation that resembled the aftermath of a carpet-bombing operation.

I think they heard my conversation with the police and decided to abandon the dacoity attempt.” CCTV footage revealed that the attackers were in their 20s and they came armed with tools in a backpack. Since Roopa’s house door has a complex lock system, it took them nearly 10 minutes to break about 80 percent of the lock.  CCTV footage from a camera installed in the next lane reveals the trio came in a car and escaped in the same vehicle.

Oct 13, 2018:  GAURIPUR: Potters of greater Gauripur area like Arjun Kumhar, Narayan Kumhar, Chandan Kumhar, Bindu Kumhar, Ratan Kumhar, Mukhlal Kumhar, Biki Kumhar, Rajen Kumhar, Lakshmi Kumhar, and Rohit Kumhar, to name a few, are presently struggling for their livelihood and staring at an uncertain future. The potters admittedly purchase clay at Rs 2,000 per tractor load and a particular type of sand for Rs 800 and collect these raw materials from a distant place, for which they have to spend extra money. After readying the clay, the potters revolve the wheel manually and shape the utensils as per need. Though the wheel can be revolved electrically, however, such a luxury cannot be afforded by the potters, hence their output remains limited. After drying their hand-crafted ware in the sun, the potters use a kind of indigenous color and burn their produce in the kiln, for which purchase of firewood or coal takes up a lot of money. The potters usually sell 100 cups at Rs 90, a small pitcher at Rs 200 and big pitcher at Rs 900. In this way, they earn a meager small amount which is not at all supportive. If that be the state of affairs, it will be well nigh impossible for the pottery profession to ever flourish in the distant future.

15 Oct, 2018: The Punjab government has decided to assign a unique number to government residential plots and approved colonies in the revenue records that will show the "khasra" as well as plot numbers. The move will prevent property frauds, and save buyers from swindlers who try to sell a piece of land several times over. Under the plan, those who want to purchase property in cities or their peripheries will get a separate "khewat" (ownership) number, which will do away with the problem of a common account (sanjhak) of land. State's Revenue Minister Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria said the revenue records would be updated in such a manner that when a coloniser sells a plot, a "tatima" and field-book will be prepared for that particular plot so that every plot gets a unique number in the revenue records. A map of the residential colony would be superimposed on the revenue map, he said in a statement. Thus, a specific plot will get registered in the buyer's name rather than a part of the colony, as was the practice earlier.
